Hi there everybody,

I am a Classically Trained Executive Chef. Been a Chef for 28 years. Started growing indoors when I was a Freshman at UCLA. Which was 32 years ago. I was very happy growing and teaching others to grow, over the years, while buying and selling Restaurants. I had begun to teach for an educational Cannabis firm out of Cali for the last year, in Philly. For the last couple of years, I have either attended or spoke at most of the “Industry Shows”. 2 years ago I sold my last 3 BBQ Restaurants, and created a fund that would allow me to more easily enter The California Cannabis Market. I found a 25 acre farm in Humbolt. Traveling there a few months ago I found out an unfortunate error. It was 3 hours from the closest Grocery Store, and 3 1/2 hour drive to the closest Hospital. My wife has been ill and had 6 different Doctors that she was seeing every month, back east. Being that far away from her specialists proved to be an insurmountable problem. I was planning to grow legally with a 40,000 sqft Canopy in Greenhouses. I met a lot of Great Growers in Humbolt and Trinity Counties, that I hopefully will be friends with for a very long time. I am attempting to slowly replace her prescription medication for Rick Simpson’s Oil.

The one fact that I came to quickly realize is that for me to do, what I plan to do, I don’t have to grow everything myself.

All I wanted to do was grow a little herb and make Gummies for my friends that have gotten sick. Over the years, I perfected a Tastless Recipe for Gummies, that I have been quietly selling to a few select friends that have owned Dispensaries.

Once I had lunch with the CEO of a huge Edibles Company and he told me that he wished that he not only controlled the Extraction Process but the Growing Process. So I was convinced that I had to buy a farm. I spent the last two years touring different Growers, different Extractors and Kitchens that were doing Edibles. The one thing that I found was that I wouldn’t trust most of the Growers that I had met just because of their cleanliness and Pesticides that everyone seemed to be using.

I hired a PhD’d Chemist and started working on producing a Food Grade Cannabis Oil.
My Chemist called me really excited one day and introduced me to Nano-Emulsified Cannabis Oil. Currently it is not being done anywhere. Lately I have been seeing press releases that were touting a Proprietary Process to create this Nano-Oil. It is not a patented process, and I intend to start Manufacturing this Nano-Oil within the next 3 months.

I don’t know if the rest of the country realized that so much of the nations cannabis supply was taken by smoke and fire damage. This year already has the fire and smoke threatening the Cannabis Crop. Another thing that I don’t understand is that in as little as 3 years ago, the Humbolt Growers would come down off of the mountains and been able to sell any Flower that they’ve produced, for $2,500 or more. When I started this a few years ago, the avg price was $2,500 and I know that barring another natural disaster, I could produce my own for $400 a lb. 2 months ago when we left Humbolt, I could buy a ton of stuff for $300 a pound. The top end of the scale here is $1,800 now. What the hell happened to the market?

We have chosen to try Southern California instead and have decided to buy a house between San Diego and Los Angeles.

I am looking to begin my Genetics Vault and wanted some advice from the members about what I should store and how best to store seeds to preserve their viability?

I know that one of the seed companies that I need to get seeds from are in Europe, I also know that Referman has a connection to some of these guys and would like to implor him to help me gather some of these. I believe to get the best Phenotypes you need a minimum of 100 or as many as 1,000 and not to buy 5 or 10 seeds, from a lineage, expecting 1 or 2 Superstars.

Does anybody have any idea how I can get Strains that I can start growing so that we can have some unique Genetics, so that we can start Clinical Trails as soon as possible. Dr. Susan Sizely has been in contact with us to find 5 different strains for Cancer and 5 different strains for Epilepsy. For her next Clinical Trails. Her 3 year Study, Studying PTSD with returning Soldiers will be complete in 6 months.

I would like to ask the group Collectively to please help me to locate seeds that could not be easily duplicatable? That are targeted to these Ailments. Sorry that this post is so long but I wanted to get as much good info out as possible as quickly as possible.p
