High Octane OG, AKA heirloom OG bx2s, Plus battle of OG clones

Good evening farmers. just thought it was time to start a new thread here. I Recently popped some of my own gear. I popped High Octane OG bx2s, Blue Power (SCS)x High Octane bx1 boy, and (Stardawg boy x High Octane girl )x High Octane Bx1 boy. Got tired of waiting on others to shoot me some tightly held OG's, So I figured why not shoot for making my own OG cut. It might just be possible to find an OG dominant girl with a better yield. Along the way I hope to find an OG dominant stud to continue one more step towards locking this girl down. If it doesn't happen perfectly, at minimum I know there's dank to be found in these beans. I just gotta unlock the fuel cut.

I made the HObx2's with the following steps:
AFHO=OGR's Alien Fire kush boy x High Octane OG clone from L.A
HObx = (Alien Fire x High Octane OG boy) x High Octane clone
HObx2= [(Alien Fire x High Octane OG boy) x High Octane clone] x High Octane clone

While we wait for my beans to mature I'm doing a battle of the OG's side by side. I'm in week 2 of flowering High Octane OG, True OG, Fader's WIFI, University Hills OG, Skywalker, GSC forum, King Louie 13th OG and a Bubba hybrid I was asked to not advertise by the cuts name. I'm running 2 4 x4 trays under an HPS each. No C02 this run, and I'm using house and Garden Coco's as my base. Nothing Fancy using what I had left over from last run. I've been thinking of switching to Jack's 5-12-26 plus Cal nitrate in the middle of the run since one of my friends blessed me with some of his nutes.

^^^^Above is one of the 10 HOBx2 babies that I popped about 10 days ago. I can only imagine what's hiding in these babies. I forgot to mention Tahoe OG, and Petrol is in the flowering room as well. Nothing but pure fuel in the rooms now. I can't deal with the fruity stuff for a bit.

Do you REALLY enjoy OG's that much? Or is it for what's in demand? I can never get enough variety personally, but I do know there are some who prefer to only smoke and grow OG's. Just wondering what your preferrnces are?

YO 619ster! I'm glad you could make it. Let me know when your around, and we can definitely link up. I actually prefer OG over most strains, and plus it's in demand. i've tried growing countless strains, but at the end of the day in SoCal I might just be sitting on the others longer, and people like to wheel and deal even if its the sickest nugg they've ever seen..... they just want OG, cookies, and other kushes right now. don't get me wrong, I love many other strains as well. But it just isn't practical growing them sometimes.
