The Himalayan I pictured wasn't the exact plant. The one that I used as rootstock was actually a foot taller than the one I showed but both had the same structure

No it showed too much herm so I culled it. Not something i wanted to use as a foundation.

I think the graft is taking. I left two small nodes on the Himalayan and both are still growing. Stripped most of the Blackjack to minimize water loss

Moved a few flowering plants outdoors a few weeks ago. Not too concerned as it may have been a few weeks early but. This is a Lao highland. Going to let it go until the snow comes
