The diesel is camped out with the mating pair of Indian sativa's. Hopefully there is enough time for seeds to fully develop
Been together for a few weeks now but it's not a quick flowering male by any means..

Haven't really posted in a long while but wanted to get back into it now that summer is winding down. Still a lot to do here on the homestead but I can but now more energy into my cannabis plants. Doing a grow indoors with the Nagaland/Uhrkel x Sour Diesels but had been holding off growing much indoors since the Spring given the cost of electricity. Outdoors I am growing the Uttarakhand (Himalayan India) and the Burma strains. I just dumped a bunch of old chicken feed that was spoiled on the soil about a week ago. Smells lovely now. These could be monsters but I have been growing them sideways and bending them down and breaking them. I have the Burmas out in the blackberry bushes and the Indians in the greenhouse. Really excited to see what my seed cross brings. I ended up with about 50 really nice looking seeds from the cross and started about 8-10. This small one in the photo is growing tri sets of leaves and seems to be very healthy.

I started ten more Nagaland/Sour Diesel seeds a few days ago to go along with the ones I planted a month or two ago. The first and best looking one finally showed sex last night and is a thankfully a female. Still have about 5 others indoors that haven't but shown but this one seemed to be the fastest/healthiest grower out of the bunch. Several were put outdoors too. Next month Ill start growing the Afghanistan landrace seeds (6 Tora Bora and 6 from Tirah). The only plant I have flowering inside is the Sour Diesel though. With the summer cooling here hopefully, I can start to add lights. I don't really want to use AC if I don't need to.

Started 5 landrace Paki/Afghani from Tirah which is on the border of both and I am going to cross any males I get with this same Sour Diesel. If I don't end up getting any males I also have 5 seeds from Tora Bora that I can start if I need to. Also a photo of the choice Indian Sativa cross. It is still the only one showing sex but the one I have high hopes for. In the greenhouse I culled two of the Burma plants. They were very hempy looking and viney but I did keep the one that looked more medicinal and easier to handle. Ill snap a photo of that one later once it stops raining.

Still no sex but I am assuming a female. Probably about 7' but I will have to keep any buds from touching plastic so I staked it towards the center of the hoop. Should show in the next few weeks

I think the seedlings dampened off so I started the six tora bora landrace. A little bummed about it but such is life. Wanted to show how this sour diesel that I grow has two types of bud structure depending on the branch. One a flattened ball and the other the typical apex. Around the half way point and starting to put out trichomes.

I had to turn the plants sideways in the greenhouse which holds them at about 5 ft. Kinda tight getting in there but the photos are of two of the Burma's. Hopefully I can get them to finish this year but either way.
Indoors my sour diesel was loaded with mites. I clipped all the leaves and sprayed but I havent put as much time in it as I should. Hopefully soon time will come.

Just putting up some photos of the landrace x sour diesel cross. The big one is my girl so far. Triple branching (three branches per node) and double the size of the smallest. My camera is pretty awful at capturing anything though. Photos 1 and 3 are from the 3 brancher. One is growing with a lot of stalk in between nodes too.

I don't know what to do about these mites. I cut most of the leaves off and I have sprayed soap/oil twice now with no luck so Im thinking I made it too weak and will try again tomorrow. Im not smoking as of now but was thinking of doing so once I harvest this one.....I guess the mites will add flavor and probably harshness.

You can see the mite bites in the lower leaves. Don't seem to be on the bud but I imagine they are.

Wash them, I hate the snap crackle pop of mites, their shit and eggs,,,,,,takes all the fun out of smoking,,,,cooking it is just added protein, but smoking is eeeeeeewwwww......lol

I've used my pressure washer on them with a fine mist spray, I pump the thing up as high as I could and blasted the underside of the leaves as best I could, It knocks thier numbers down but it didn't knock them out....I had to shutter down bleach everything and start again to kill them all off. I still spray my cement floors weekly with Bleach and water to slow down the herd from marching towards my plants...I know they're out there give the fkers a chance and they take off I thinks its something like day 1 = x 33 x33 x33 x33 x33 per day.....yikes....
