Hortilux Powerveg T5's

I have to replace a bunch of t5 bulbs here soon. Was wondering if anyone has tested these yet. I know they are new...but some of you guys get things before they are released.

At 30 bucks a pop....they better rain down some goodness.

I know....hell you can get an 8 pack of quantum t5's for under 80 bucks from Monster Gardens.....an 8 pack of the Hortilux PowerVeg costs 204. Thats a bit preposterous to me.

It says to use half and half (standard and "powerveg")

That'd be a bit cheaper

LOL,yeah thats to much for a T5 but hortilux msrp is set at the sucker born every minute price there 1k hps msrp for I think $129.95 but I seem to be able to find them for $65 or so.

I want to check them out but havent found them locally yet and shipping T5s is never a good thing. I assume they can be used for ripening as well? Does anyone know how well suited they would be for this?

i just got my 8 pack from monstergardens few days ago, and i can see a small difference in how the plants react...the new growth seems to have thicker leaves and stems...will be able to tell more in the next few weeks....
