How do I remove a Uni-Seal?

Was wondering how the best way to remove PVC/Uni Seal from a tub is. I've tried brute force, it was hard enough getting it in, now getting it out seems like a whole another process, but I can't use windex because the area in the uniseal is out of reach.

tips? suggestions ?

Rubber mallet. Hit it right where the uniseal edge is and hold the pvc. Dont hit it to hard nice and easy baby hits.

Lube the point at the pvc that will be backed out the uni then do as BG suggested and tap tap till dislodged.....once you break the seal that the uni/pvc has made it will slide out.
