How Much Light Needed For Veg Room???

Trying to turn my grow space perpetual so I wanna use my current room to flower and build a veg room. I have 2 4'x8' spaces with 18 five gallon pots in each, so I'm planning to stagger each of these two spaces (to split up my trimming). Therefore in my veg room I need enough light to support 18 plants thru veg, a few mothers, and 18 cuttings... So my question is how much light do I need??

Not too much is necessary for veg.. I'd hang 2 4' 8 lamp high output t5's in a 4x8.
