I've had great success with 4 times. One at lights on, then hour 3.5 then at 7, then at 10.

What size cubes are you using and how big are your plants? On my last grow(GDP a stout and leafy), I used 6in cubes and watered 3 times a days for 45 seconds. I felt like it was too much, so I will be watering about 35 seconds this time around. You can touch the tops of the cube before you feed them and if they are still damp you might want to back off the water a bit. I don't think my roots got enough air last time because my blocks were always saturated.

If they aren't getting enough the blocks will be dry and very light when you lift them up.

Water is God!

I feel there are many factors that can affect the watering cycles and amounts...think about the following:
-What strain?
-Where do you live (FL vs AZ)?
-What is the controlled humidity?
-How long have your plants been in flowering and how many total days before harvest?
-Are you using ebb and flow, hand water, other.....?
-Nute levels and ppm?

Are your plants showing signs of too much watering? I keep several room circulation fans running 24 hrs, additional to the heat exhaust fan to maintain temps.

I have several flower rooms, all in rockwool cubes. My plants are started in clone cubes (2x2), then transferred into 4x4s for veg, and into a plastic pot with hydroton on the bottom with rockwool mini cubes filling in the voids. This seems to work really well, as the air circulates in the hyrdoton and mini cubes. Additionally I have air stones in my res for each flower tray and in my R/O tank. So my water is very oxyginated prior to touching the plant roots.

My water cycle is 4 x a day for 5 mins per cycle. I have ebb and flow with high output pumps and large drains so the water is quickly cycling for each watering.

Watch you babes and you can determine if you are lacking in water or drowning. Also what was the veg cycle with watering?

i flooded my trays 3x for 30 minutes..first when the lights came on, then 5 hours later, and an hour before the lights went off.
