Asking for a friend . She came across a large stash of bud seed and leaf brought it to me had no idea how old some of it is ( individual bags) maybe last years ??? But before it’s goes in the fire, I took some picture of the most green buds. Some of it is down right useless. Suggestions please can I make oil out of this stuff. I am a first timer so need lots of help. I am proud to say I did harvest my first plant and my yield was 11oz

Water hash would probably be simpler than oil. So long as you don't have any mold on that stuff you will be fine.

How the material is stored makes a big difference in quality. Temperature and light degrade THCa (pretty much like beer). If it was stored in a clear plastic bag in the sun, it's toast. If it was stored in a dark root cellar, in a tightly sealed container it will still be potent after several years. Why not just smoke it and you'll know in a few minutes?
