So we are at day 25 from seed running autos with 24/7 light.

Plants are showing all kinds of issues from nute burn to calcium deficiency and heat stress one after the other but growing fast.

I'm not sure how people here do 24/7 lights. For me this looks fast but is there some guidance how to balance nutrients and watering.

I've grown before and never had issue after issue but also lacked growth this fast. They seem to be dry in 3 days and never remember to water that often. Just watered Sunday but probably forgot for week which made them a bit droopy but they back.

Also is there a specific plant breed designed to fast green sea type of thing. Right now I'm not even sure what I'm growing. This random mix of auto seeds. 3 of the plants are indica heavy and all have leafs like indica but one has more of sativa structure.

plants are exposed to a daily alternation between light and dark. Although growth in the light can be directly fueled by photosynthesis, in the dark it depends on stored carbohydrate. In many species, starch accumulates in the light and is broken down to provide sugars for metabolism and growth at night.

Unless you've issue with cold with light off you shouldn't deprivate cannabis plant from night time. This goes against their natural circadian rythm and metabolism.

yea auto can handle the 24/7, but at least give them 4 hours of dark. 20/4 or 18/6 and try to re-position your fan, don't have the fan blowing directly on the plants., try to direct the fan off the side walls to bounce the air around. then when watering try to use 1/2 strength nutes.

Scrogging works best if you stay one step ahead of the plant—ideally, you want to set the screen so branches grow into it, as opposed to having to push branches into it after (Your setup). Monitor your plants week by week and help branches through the screen as they grow. If you do need to set a screen after the fact and put branches in it, it’s not the end of the world, just be gentle with your plants.
  • Start at a corner and work your way around the edges, getting the middle of the screen last.
  • As mentioned above, stretch out the longest branch of a plant toward the plant next to it—it should overlap with the longest branch of the adjacent plant by 6” or so.
  • Work methodically, putting all branches of one plant into the screen before moving on to the next plant.
  • Stretch a branch out as far as it can go, pull it up through the screen, and rest it on the screen. If it falls through, pull it back one square closer to the center of the plant.
  • If you’re having trouble with a set of branches, try rotating the entire plant. Repositioning it can open up new possibilities.
Scrogging can stress a cannabis plant out, and you’ll probably notice that the plants look a little wilty afterward. But fear not—with some direct light they’ll bounce back, and putting them through the scrog will be worth it in the long run.

It’s a good idea to water plants within 24 hours of scrogging to give them a little boost to get past the stress of the procedure.

It’s also a good idea to check the scrog 2-3 days later to touch it up. The plants will have grown into the screen a little bit in those couple of days, and you’ll have a better sense of where each branch wants to go and where buds will develop.

I just setup timer to 20/4 last night, moved the fan and move light bit up, snipped of few damaged leafs that were getting no light, setup a net about 10cm above highest plant and watered.

Let's see how things look in 3-4 days time.

If running 24/7 lighting be them auto's or photo's in veg. Don't run high light intensity like you would with a night cycle and stay on point with feeding and watering. Increase the amount of feed and watering as they grow, not the frequency of watering and feeding. It's complete and total BS that cannabis needs a night cycle when seedlings or veg. Photos do need a night cycle to flower and keep them in flower. Otherwise 24/7 balls to the wall is good.

I have a situation here right now in my 3 x 3 tent. Seeds were suppose to be GG4 photo. Turns out one seed was a auto. No skin off my nose the seeds were free. I was running them 18/6 because the seed was started when temps were still high,,, still very hot. Lights off at noon and back on at 6 pm. Well the auto showed. Not a problem for me. It's cooled down a lot. So I changed them to 20/4 a couple of weeks ago. And there going on 24/7 today. Hope to get the auto to finish good and just veg the hell out of the photo. When the auto finishes then flip the light for the photo to get her into flower. And have a bigger than usual GG4. Soon as I saw the auto,,, you sneaky devil. I raised the light higher in the tent as I increased the light on time. Thus effectively lowering the par levels a shade but keeping DLI close to were it needs to be. Also brought the humidity level down.

Plants as of this morning.

This is a Gaia Green grow so I don't fud around with ferts and ph crap anymore. I want it bone idle simple and easy now days. So I just started top dressing the auto with 2-8-4 and keeping the photo on 4-4-4 until the auto gets near finish then change the photos feed to 2-8-4. I still say the auto is a runt. But being on 18/6 didn't do her any favors during her formative weeks,,,, 🤣 😂 🤣 😂

Good Luck!

Man that's a tight area for 4 autos, but it is what it is now. Defoliate them for less change of PM, not point in doing any training cause there's no place for them to go except up.

it's not unusual sugar accumulated during the day can fuel more growth during (even a short) night time, than photosynthesis during light on.

day and night timelapse kind of videos make it rather obvious ...

It was unnecessary precaution. Seeds were old and not properly stored. I figured if planted 4 I get 2 plants but got four.

I don't generally do any training or anything. I live in Andalusia so my normal thing would be just plant outside.

I just started to get issue with wild boars they eating and trampling my plants. Bought cheap second hand tent to my garage and here we go.

Cannabis has a limit to the amount of light it can handle in a day. (DLI) Not the duration, but the intensity. If you want to run for 24 hours, just reduce the brightness.

12 hours at full intensity is exactly the same DLI as 24 hours at half intensity. It's just simple calculus.

These girls are doing fine, but I should have given them a bit of a haircut. I just hadn't had the time. Now, they are running third-week flowers on two of them and the second week with two. This makes me think I'm dealing with four plats that are not all the same strain.

20/4 schedule seems to have worked better.
