I recently found this company which offers a 95.1 % ultra pure N-Butane in regular cans.



Will be placing an order with them in the near future.

Have you checked out 'Puretane' brand yet?
It's 99.998% pure nButane. Cans are about the same price as others at the shops but if you get together a big purchase online you can get the cases down to about 45$ a piece.

Older herb tends to bring out a really dark oil whereas on the other hand, fresh herb creates a more lighter oil.

Also, the temps you used to purge the oil will play a big part in the color of your finished product.

I've found that 115*f is Perfect for purging shatter.

Have not tried yet. I didn't do this. Payed for it to be done. Pretty old kief. He really had not done any before. Told him go. For it. My kid will be over today so the. Master will try There was jars and jars of kief almost a pound. I have a tumbler.

Yes, i've used kief and find it is superior in every way…. there is very very low % of plant matter, fats, waxes, etc to leach into the oil like when using raw flowers.

if your blasting keif mix it with mancala rocks or the rocks they sell for bongs in headshops, will stop it from compacting and losing the heads due to crushing of the block of keif... and makes blowouts a million times less likely... the pressure when blasting keif is no joke. lol

once in a while i'll throw in a new strain …. but its usually a clone only that has already been around the block a few times …so I kinda already know what to expect out of her by what i've read, heard, seen, smoked etc...

I used to run noting but seeds and got burned out… although, I did just get done popping a few SFV x Tres Sister seeds a friend gifted me a few months ago.

I was able to find two females out of the bunch so I'll def, be throwing them into the cycle this next round.

As for kief being stored in the freezer… i'd say yes, if it was sealed correctly.

5.3 grams from 28.2 is a 19% return. That's actually really good.

I recently was talking to a friend about dabbing. He was telling me that if you do not do the step with everclear and leave waxes in (which probably 99% of people do) then smoke it, you coat your lungs with shit. Kids think they have smokers cough from "weed" but actually it's a film of shit on their lungs from unrefined BHO.

I don't dab but if I did I would do my best to make my own in this fashion.

No pressure when "blasting" into a thermos Aladeen, hence the reason i use it instead of tubes.

When I was spraying kief through tubes, I was always using a Stainless Steal Turkey Baster which had a hose clamp and stainless screen to prevent any possible blow outs…

So a lot of people are reporting not winterized oil coating their lungs?I wonder if its non purged too?I argue about this with friends all the time.My buddy says he can still taste everclear after 24 hr plus purge at -29.5. I have tasted it a bit myself before we got the vac chamber.After seeing all the wax and whatnots pulled from winterizing I prefer that. I'm trying to convince close friends its important to winterize.Do the majority of you guys winterize?

Wow this is extremely interesting. I've never heard of anyone using a thermos like that. Question on something I read here:
"The fats, waxes, and lipids are all present in all BHO …even perfectly purged Shatter that you can see through can be winterized and pulled of its impurities"

Does this mean that the fats, waxes, and lipids do not add to the high or to the medical qualities of the wax? They are basically extra weight? so taking the same size dab of shatter WITHOUT the fats, waxes, and lipids present would get you higher than hitting a dab of the same size with all that stuff still in it?

I just never realized the importance of that step!
