HST or LST can it cause a hermie

got 2 plants 2 weeks into flower. so they are already showing bud sites. a few branches were getting too tall compared to the others so I used a lst bender. unfortunately both branches broke. i did my best to tape them up. i have had no problems before intentionally bending branches. but this time it seems having two injuries on one plant might piss it off. am i over reacting? I guess i will have to keep an eye out for balls.

Don't worry about it. Plants are used to animals eating them. Plants are rugged. The stress of physical damage isn't a big deal.
