So I have a problem.

I just got my grow room set up finally and I run into an issue with the humidifier.

I have a Pure Humidifier that has a touch button ON/OFF Switch, but it's not coming back on!

I have to press the button on the humidifier to turn it back on every time the controller turns it off!

I just got this from CVS via an online order but it may be too late to return it

I suspect it's because it has a touch button and not a dedicated on off switch that it won't work with the ink bird controller.

And if that's the case and anyone can confirm then that really sucks because I have a lot of work to do again and we'll have to find another humidifier.

Or I suppose I can leave it on 100% of the time and then have the controller run the dehumidifier at the same time but then that means that the dehumidifier will probably be working a lot and will never shut off.

So I think my options are to get a different humidifier or go with it being on all the time and put it on low and just let the dehumidifier balance everything out.

PLEASE HELP.❤️

My whole setup is working well and I worked REALLY hard on this and as you can see the humidifier is PERFECT ❤️ EXPECT that it won't come back on.

So yeah, I think I answered my own question. 😇

I'm ordering a new one.

Thankfully this humidifier was free so there is that, I can just use it in another place. ☮️

Very clean setup!
I have found I use environmental controllers for my exhaust fan, but use seperate wifi controls on my phone for my dehumidifier and humidifier in the lung room. After a while you can get it down to the point where it's basically automated. For a dehumidifier I got a 4.5 gallon for a 150ish Sq ft lumg room(the room your tent is in) for summer time. Then I use my ac to battle the heat put off by the dehumidifier that will easily pull 2 gallons a day out of the air.
Anyways that is all down the road for you. Very glad to see you up and running with that humidifier issues resolved.
Best of luck ✌️ 🐼

I would try just taping down the button in the on position if you haven't already, it may not work but it's worth a shot. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Oh okay, I'll try that

I don't think there's anything to press on to keep it down though, it's a touch sensor, I barely have to tap it to turn back on.

New humidifier is being shipped already but I'll try the trick anyway.😇

Well I'm getting a new one still.
This one still won't come back on after it goes off, but I'll try the tape trick.☮️

Thank you for complementing my setup!😇💚☘️

When getting devices like humidifiers or dehumidifiers look for the ones with on/off knobs instead of buttons. Seem to be the safest bet
Yep!

Definitely will know from now on☮️🕉️

I got this one a 3.5 L With a knob and a dial plus an optional light and top fill.

For $25, normally $38

I let the humidifier stay on to regulate the humidity by itself, not connected to my inkbird. Then I just have my heater, and my inline fan connected to the inkbird. If my humidity gets too high, the inkbird will trigger fresh air via the inline fan kicking on, and the humidity drops. If it gets too cold the heater clicks on. I don't use an exhaust fan, I leave the top fan hole of the tent open like a chimney. The extra air from the inline at the bottom, pushes the hot air out the top.

I have the AC Infinity 4.5L version, and I love it because it can sit outside the tent and not take up the space for another plant in my 3x3.

Now I'll be MORE WISE. 😅

I'll be MEGA-WISE 🥰
Well, this one ended up being TOO BIG so I had to return that BUT....

I got this lovely humidifier for $26.06 including tax.

Taller, smaller dimensions depth and width, perfect 1.7 L Ultrasonic Unit 💧🌞

RayDrop.

Good reviews, good videos of it performing well, easy to clean and it matches my white walls 😀
