I'm running halos in a dtw setup, having a problem with pressure at the last 4 plants first 4 get great pressure, running a mainline system, is there anyway to get more pressure to the far end of the table?
Extend your first tube and pump into the halos from the middle.I'm running halos in a dtw setup, having a problem with pressure at the last 4 plants first 4 get great pressure, running a mainline system, is there anyway to get more pressure to the far end of the table?
Keep it 1/2 inch the whole run. You MUST make sure that when the main line splits, each halo is the same distance from the pump. So if it takes 48" to get to the farthest site the closest one need a 48" run also. @TripsRabbit said it perfectly, aim for the middle. You will then see the water hit all the sites at the same time with equal pressure.Would a larger main tube help?
The ones on the leftGonna take a lot of tube the ones on the right are about 9ft from the pump
What are you feeding them? It looks like lime green koolaid in the tubes.Keep it 1/2 inch the whole run. I run the same system

Put the main line all the way in the middle of the tray and then run the other lines to the halos from there.Gonna take a lot of tube the ones on the right are about 9ft from the pump
I've never even used an automatic watering system...Put the main line all the way in the middle of the tray and then run the other lines to the halos from there.

The mainline runs through the middle of the tablePut the main line all the way in the middle of the tray and then run the other lines to the halos from there.
Well yeah the mainline runs through the table its just the plants closest to the pump are getting way better pressureI've never even used an automatic watering system...
Physics and common sense.
Yes because they can't all split off a line like that without that happening. The water needs to exit each emitter at the same time, not one after another down the line.Well yeah the mainline runs through the table its just the plants closest to the pump are getting way better pressure
Yeah 8 sitesHow many sites, 8?
I've got ball valves on each site, gonna make the lines closest to the pump longerHaving a check valve and each site also helps to fine tune flow by being able to turn down sites that are too strong.
I will give that a try once they wake upForgive the crude drawing...
