I noticed this weird bug on my mother plant and need help identifying it! Harmful? The ants seem to have come with it as well. Any info would be great!!
No not white fly
I looked up both those bugs too,I think i found it!!!!! Cottony Leafhopper, tho it doesn't give any specific info. Just the same info as the rest of the leafhopper types. Also doesn't say anything about ants, so still wanting more info lolNo not white fly
No not sooty mold that turns black hence the spooty name .Meant mealy bug, the white stuff is mould produced by the bugs, think its a mould, soot mould?

[/QUOTE they suck the sap from you plant you better act quick if there’s not to many just crush them and wipe off the egg rafts in the cotton .

My thoughts as well!!! Ive talked with my grow mentors too and they haven't ever seen one either. It moves like a leafhopper, but last year these are the leafhoppers I experienced
Small spray bottle with mild soapy (dish soap) water destroys the eggs and washes the adults from the plant.
Ok ill give it a go!! Thank you!
