Is it ok to fill me resevoir up use half the water feed the let sit for 3 days and feed again?

Is airstones a good idea in a resevoir?

I see its good to leave water out for chlorine gets out but then again u lose amount if oxygen in water is oxygen in water critical?

Dude YES. oxygen in water is VERY critical. Air stones are a must. I don't know anything about letting water sit cuz I'm on well water and I don't believe it has any chlorine any how but as for the oxygen part, it's crucial. My air pump actually has 2 hoses going into the Reservoir.

Also make sure that the hoses that are going into your water are completely black because clear hoses will transfer light kind of like fiber optics. Also I kind of feel like letting your water sit for 3 days without air going to it is just begging for a bacteria issue.

I wouldn't know anything about something that big. Message a guy named bdubs and he is the hydro master. He will have an answer for you regarding 200 gal res. As for oxygen, yes, you CAN have too much o2 but it's much easier to not get enough o2 than it is to get to much. But yeah, hit up bdubs and take a look at all his setups. Also tell him cmurda referred you to him 😄 lol good luck!

Theres no such thing as too much oxygen in the water.
Ive been growing hydroponically for over 20 years. Only small scale, 4 plants, just 100 gallons main tank, with another 100 gallon water butt to mix and condition the water before it goes to the plants.
Ive got two large air pumps. One to run 4 x 10cm dome air stone under each plant, the other with two curtain air stones down two edges.
When I turn them on I want to see a bubbling mass. Not enough oxygen to the roots leads to root rot, and a host of other problems.
Its so distressing to see one of your prime plants die because of root problems.

I mix my nutrients in a 100 gallon water butt which is right outside my grow tent. I run an air pump in the water butt as well, it helps with mixing, as well as keeping the oxygen levels up.

Mixed nutrients should really be used within a week, but Ive gone two. It didnt do any harm

Thank you for saying that, I've just read somewhere that too much o2 could be bad but I'll take first hand knowledge anyday over a book read.
