So you add just pearlite for airation that's it?
We used to add perlite for aitetion, until we found it would continuously rise the ph of th soil. We now use grow stones or another “neutral” additive. Also, I will add that upon transplanting we do add a tablespoon of the amendment just below the root zone of the plant being potted (if that makes sense) and then a tablespoon on top of the soil after the pot is filled and then “scratched” into the soil before watering. But that’s it, unless we notice the plants needing anything specific like a tad bit of nitrogen during first few weeks of flower. But other than that...it’s pretty effortless growing.
