no such thing as hot soil, but reusing soil in todays growing world is a big NO NO..
HLVd can live in dead roots for 6 months+..
why you think the plant is the way it is, is not from what you think,.
flushing 8 times? why,
was re using the soil worth

Time for a bigger pot.
IMG 20250319 072050824

Couple.lower branches will never make it to top canopy.
IMG 20250319 072202638 HDR

Removed those and a few lower leaves.
IMG 20250319 072334669 HDR

Root ball was no where near what I was hoping for. But enough to keep the soil together.
IMG 20250319 072403222 HDR

Planting it fairly low in the pot only about 2 inches of soil underneath it.
IMG 20250319 073040056 HDR

Next one let's hop for better roots. All branches on this one will make it to upper canopy so only trimmed some lower leaves.
IMG 20250319 073359051 HDR

Root ball also not as good as I would hope for.
IMG 20250319 073835004

Didn't plant this one as low in the pot. About 4 inches of soil underneath it.
IMG 20250319 073928645 HDR

Raised light and they are back in there home.
IMG 20250319 073940019 HDR

Will be adjusting light next few days getting it back to as much as they can handle to help with keeping them from stretching.
IMG 20250319 073306052 HDR

Took off minimal leaves from the bottom of the plant.

😎👍

They still have like a week and a half before I'm planning on flipping them. Maybe longer. They support to stretch a fair amount also in flower. I'm going to have to meditate the height somehow. Hopefully flipping them and dropping the light will do the trick, otherwise going to have to look at maybe super cropping them or just laying them down on that shelf in there. Idk should be interesting.

Did a little training in the back plant as it was taller then the front plant. Needed to even up the canopy a little bit.

Just pulled her. Down and spread her out so each branch would get light equally. Or as close as I could manage.

I'm sure string is not the ideal option to use here but it's what I had in arms length. If you use string make sure you leave room for the stem to grow. Bot tie it down tight. I also cut off a few leaves to make sure none of the heads on the branches were being left in shadows.

Got them both spread out and trimmed up. Will be flipping them next Friday. that will give them 3 weeks after transplant. I think I have always flipped to flower too quickly after transplant in the past. Usually only waited a week after up potting to permanent pot size.

So far so good. I think they are going to get big super silver haze says the will stretch a lot. Should be interesting managing them with a light that has no dimmer.. 😂🤣😂🤣😂 10 foot ceilings hopefully will.leave enough room.

Same strain same pack of seeds, but they are growing very differently. I grabbed a clone off the back one just because I like the way that one is growing. I just have a feeling these two will be difficult.to keep the canopy even.

Will have to see how it goes. Should.be interesting.

i highly recommend Growers ally Fungicide or Crop defender as they have saved my plants and my ass numerous times. you have a good start and everyone and I do mean everyone gets a fungus or a spidermite at some point... the trick is how you deal with issues.

One week into flower, it much stretching happening, no white hairs yet. That's fairly typical. But I expected a little.more growth.

This next week they should pick up the pace.

Two weeks into flower. The stretch not to bad or not as bad as I thought it would be. Must have the light at the correct distance. 👍 The stigmas not really coming in very much yet. She a slow bloomer. But they are starting.

Looks like a decent canopy. Will be doing a trim sometime over the next week. Need to get rid of some of the lower branches that won't make it up to the canopy. Those will just end up taking energy and won't produce much. Then need to take a few big fan leaves off to open the canopy up some to allow more light penetration.

Other then that they looking good. 😎

Little bit of tip burn on the back one. I was running low on made up ferts and only have it like 10% runoff. Important to washout what your putting in. 30% runoff is usually my goal when feeding.

21 days is a perfect time for a trim.

I’ve had plants that didn’t really stretch for one reason or another, and I got used to that idea until I then started dialing everything in, and now it seems like they’re always at LEAST doubling in size!

Don’t ever underestimate the stretch, and it can sneak up on you when you have a long flowering plant!

I’ve been so disappointed by plants because I felt like they weren’t where they should be only for them to magically catch up later.

Weird stuff ha ha

Yeah these are new strains for me. So I didn't know what would happen but the website said they stretch a lot. They doubled in size which seems about normal. I grew some jack here a while back and that thing quadrupled in size. From the post on these seeds I was expecting the same.

It's okay though in the closet I am using non dimmable lights so I'm okay with this amount of stretch I still have a light of head room to raise light if needed.

This is why I’ve always been a clone guy ha ha.

Find a plant that looks and does how you want, and keep it.

Then work that plant until you know what it likes, and you’d be amazed what kind of quality you can get out of it when you know exactly what you’re dealing with in advance!
