I posted this in Hydroponic and got no replies sorry for the double post.

Is 64 degrees to cold for my rez temp? My DIY chiller is working better than I expected. The root zone is 68 degrees during flood. 5 gallon buckets with hydroton. Thanks

It's a tad cold...I run my chiller at 67°f and it slows my growth a little.. been told 69 or 70 would be better..but the upside is way less chance of root rot.

64 wont hurt anything, like @Matthewstever said they will just grow a little slower.

Its once you get below 60 degrees the roots will become more and more stunted, thus basically stunting your growth.

Its just a matter of fine tuning if 69-70 degree is optimal. A Google search had me all over the map as far as optimal temp. Thanks guys.
