Another first time grower looking for opinions on when to harvest. The Southern Ontario frost is juuust starting, so I'm getting nervous about leaving her out too long.
I don't know the strain and didn't keep accurate track of flowering dates. The pistils appear to have stopped growing, lots are brown and shrivelled up. I think trichs are just getting milky, but it's really hard to judge. There are still definitely clear ones, and no amber ones yet.
The plant is in a raised bed like 3ft off the ground.
Thoughts?

It looks like a few more weeks. I’m on week 6 of flower or 42 days of flower and the trichomes have starting flipping to amber. Im going to let them get to 75% covered In amber before I harvest. I’m also doing an indoor grow so I’m sure there is a difference there. But I think you have a few weeks left for sure.

here’s what mine look like. These were taking a week ago so now I have more amber

Thanks @kevinfever. Are you not concerned about frost getting them? It seems like it's earlier than last year :/

The frost always arrives before my outdoor plants are ready. Usually, for the last 2-3 weeks, I cover them at night with black plastic. They do fine even when the nights get down into the mid 20's.
