is this normal? or is there an issue

wondering if these 2 plants are ok? never grown gorilla glue before, but the only thing I'm wondering is why the formation of growth is just open the side of every stalk and not at the top. I notice that only 5 point leaves will grow at the bottom portion only and 3 and 1s will grow out of the top. if anyone has any info I would love to know something about this.

Think is some kind of mutation or something. I've heard of this happening before. Or Maybe a rare gene. It should be ok though.

It looks like its going from flowering back into veg. Another 2-3 weeks you should start seeing normal growth again....if that's what it is.
