No,it dont make a difference.when you pour your water on the pot it pulls air down with it.I added a bunch of perlite to my soil and a few other things. I was just wondering if the additional oxygen would be good for the water before feeding , or if it helps in any way.
I've been using a garden pump sprayer to water , seems to do a good job tooNo,it dont make a difference.when you pour your water on the pot it pulls air down with it.
minimal gain for the trouble is what i was originally thinking too lolJust wondering because I have an aquarium pump and airstones so I thought it could be helpful but seems like it has minimal gain for the trouble
i see now. i misunderstoodI think he is talking about to remove chlorine and add his nutrients into a tank to use to feed the plants
2 questions for ya heisen...I think he is talking about to remove chlorine and add his nutrients into a tank to use to feed the plants
yes, your absolutely right, leaves are the solar panels,I persoanlly only defoliate where it needs to be done2 questions for ya heisen...
I defoliated yesterday today and i noticed the 6 site i did is eating slower than the 6 site i have not defoliated yet. Is this normal? (Less plant to eat maybe)
2nd question. Since I’ve defoliated my c02 meter has been reading off the charts! Like 2000ppm and it’s not even running. Is this because the plants are not uptaking the c02 due to the defoliation?
Thank you!
Okay I’ll have to keep that in mind when i defoliated that it will dictate the strength of my feed at that time. How long do you suppose before my c02 level comes back down?yes, your absolutely right, leaves are the solar panels,I persoanlly only defoliate where it needs to be done
Its really up to you man,I defoliate whats necessary to clean things up.Okay I’ll have to keep that in mind when i defoliated that it will dictate the strength of my feed at that time. How long do you suppose before my c02 level comes back down?
I was under the impression the heavier defoliation would be beneficial in a vertical style grow. The light penetration is great afterwards.
Okay nice. Hey man thanks for all your replies and help i really appreciate it.Its really up to you man,I defoliate whats necessary to clean things up.

Will my c02 levels come back down btw? Lol
hey heisen im in week 8 right now everything is looking good. building off what you said, what makes you say straight water flush is pointless? i was thinking about doing something similar to what you said and just using MOAB only (no base nutes etc) during my last week but wanted to get your opinion on that. you dont think using dry kool bloom or moab in my case for the flush affects taste or anything?Last week I use dry kool bloom.really flattens them up about 150 ppm only.stgaight water flush is pointless unless you wanna do it the last 3 days before chop.its not like dirt.once you cut them off there cut off.
okay cool. im gonna try some side by side variations of using moab over shooting powder and flushing with ro vs using moab only during the final week flushI've never had nutes effect taste in rdwc.if you get down to the last week your ppm should almost be water anyway.you can run a 3 day straight water if you want but I never really saw a difference.by that time plants aren't really drinking much.
Some guys will do 3 days straight water and empty res for a couple days to stress the plants into trich mode.
