No, I really don't think so. The only light it could get would be from the light itself. Do mechanical timers ever fail?
I've had mechanical timers fail to click over in the past but it doesn't really look like a nanner to me.
It looks kinda like 2 pistils that still have that yellow hue to them.
I would just pluck it anyway to be safe and keep an eye out. Lol one time I plucked lots of calyxes and pistils thinking they were nanners, plant was a full blown female đŸ˜‚

It’s not fox tailing. They will continue to sprout the lone pistils here and there. Especially the buds directly under the light.
Yeah it is the taller ones. I'll raise my light a bit. It's only 12 inches from the tallest bud.
