yeah pretty much only where the light is getting to it... what does this mean exactly? its not so cold in there anymore and it seems as if they are still turning... someone told me the last week to just let them get hella fucking cold if you can... what does this do?

hopefully have an update today guys, thanks for all the kind words again...

The cold will purple it up. To my knowledge, this is simply an aesthetics thing.

So the buds arent really getting fat and solid like i hoped, last run they were much more dense and bigger. not nearly as many but the buds were like impressive sized, these not so much... oh well.

hopefully i get a pound, got some signs of some mites. hit em with a little azamax, seem to be beat back for now. hit em again tomorrow i think then chop em in a week.

ehhhh its probably not the best idea but yeah im spraying the plants. azamax is supposed to be concentrated neem oil i guess. i just sprayed the underside of the screen, and the area that was affected. not spraying straight on the buds, although its impossible to keep it all off.

last run i sprayed with about a week to go also, no real adverse tastes or smells that i could notice at least, i informed th club what i did too and they said they couldnt taste anything either, so idk. i have heard its bad to spray the last few weeks. but what am i supposed to do? let em take over? im not gonna let those bitches start tenting and destroying my leaves. i might not spray a second time, as they are looking fairly "recessed" at the moment. but we'll see.

Sorry for showing up late Jake,

I have a very similar space to yours same wattage and same magnum xxxl, and SCROG so I read through the thread out of interest;

I too had some mite problems a couple runs ago and thought I might offer up what I learned. 1, as far as I know AzaMax is OMRI listed and safe to spray over your plants up to a week before harvest save for risk of mold! I have done this and been fine (atleast I dont think my brain is any more damaged than it was) but AzaMax is an inocculant which will only stop the developent of mites in medium or the spread of them on your plants but from what I understand it is barley effective as an actual killer of mites, mild at best. I found that SNS 217 was a more effective late stage mite killer because it too is OMRI listed so safe to use. But nothing I mean NOTHING compared to the floramite/Bleach treatment me and my girl gave the tents after the cull. I now give my plants a floramite shower once in early veg and once early flip and havent seen a sign of those fuckers since.

That being said really nice thread and grow man, I really like some of the colors in the middle there. With the magnum xxxl and a dialed in strain 1.5 elbows should be just bout par for the course from now on!

i have actually used sns 217 on my last run. and i agree it did work very very well. just havent got any this run... think its just a little too late to spray anymore.

and i kinda knew the azamax isnt a "killer" for say, i was just trying to control them really, dont want them to go crazy.

i have experience with floramite also. and sadly to say have hit early stage veggers and moms with avid. just was trying to keep this grow extremely simple... i didnt do much. i didnt even get a chance to really trim under the screen. (part of the reason the main colas arent filling out im guessing) i have been really busy with my collective op and this one has just been getting the "stop by on the way to work to snap some pics and see if they need water" treatment. if you know what i mean. the most time ill spend on em will be trimming, even that ill bust out in a day.

Whaddup Jake... So I read the label and instructions that came with my Azamax bottle and it is indeed safe to use up to and on the day of harvest... In fact they list quite a few diff vegetables and fruits that it can be used on... This is good news! Although they specify that any strength is safe, I would assume the low end would be best... :cool

Another update from today... Forgot to check on em yesterday and the back blue dreams got WAY dried out. watered today. so hopefully i didnt hurt em too much.

no i didnt use really any boosters. used bud candy once. only fed TWICE total...

little too late to use any now... im flushing now.

next run ill know that they can only live for about two months happily with the nutes from the soil and start hitting them accordingly. learned a lot on this run, even if i dont hit my pound goal. (as its just not looking like i will with the bud density i have)

day 62. def did not fill out. i will not hit a pound. hopefully i end up with a half pound of good nugs again.

definitely more chronic though...

thanks guys. im stoked on the quality for sure... have the final weight in about a week or so.

and for all those interested. i think i lost most of my weight to these factors in order:

-Not enough nutrients
-Not Trimming below the screen. (lots of popcorn/duff)
-Temps and humidity being all over the place
-Stopping my bug spray regimen
