i was sat there wondering about different ways to make it easyer for my roots to grow and i came upon this idea- if i put about 3 inch of coco on the bottom of my pots and put a good 6"layer of clay pebbles with a ceramic disc airstone amongst them then fill to top with coco would this work?
has anybody tryed this?
my line of thought was if i can increase the amount of oxygen to my roots then they would grow faster!
but i dont know if the roots in the middle with only pebbles around them would dry out.
what do you think?

lol try it without a plant to see if it actually creats big enough of a pocket for airstine to function.

i tried an air stone aT one point had lots of trouble with that plant. the rest went on as normal. I put it in a light mixnear the bottom. if i was to try again iwould put a tray of stones under containers and put airstone in that and let water chill their. If your soil mix is light enough alls good. don't fear the perlite
