Phots speak for themselvs I think. Its 1 inch schedual 40. The 3 way junctions are found at lowes. This is a great way to make sure your getting maximum feed pressure.

The bottom pics are a project I am working on. I took all 3 of my 13 Dawgs males and pollenated this beautiful Grape Romulan. I'm thinking of calling it, 13 Romulans or something, haha. I am looking for a few people in socal to do test these...

Kinda a random thread sorry, I got a request for info on how to hard pipe the MPB for a cleaner better install. I would only hardpipe from here out..

I have some really fun stuff going on. My shitty pics don't do the preggers romulan justice.

I also have a fancy schmancy UC 13 XL I will start a journal with. Who knows, maybe i'll grow out these seeds in the UC.. Then again, I have seeds 2 seeds from my fruity pebble OG I lost (best smoke evar), and they are looking really good. Im hoping its the purple fruity pebble og just like the one I lost..

I am doing a run of DD's 13 dawgs in the MPB's right now.. They are looking great and get the flip in the next day or 2. Im really hoping that flipping these at 32-26 inches is not a mistake...

I run all PVC piping now, for any system that I build. You lose very little pressure compared to the vinyl tubing. The PVC stopcocks are a lot better than the black stuff they sell at hydro shops.

This brings up a good point and timing is perfect...

I am a bit confused about a top feed. On one hand I read that DDs recommends 24/7, but there is also a caution not to saturate the rockwool. It seems to me that 24/7 drip over the rockwool would saturate it. :wondering

Is the drip so light that the rockwool doesn't get too wet? :wondering

Is the drip out beyond the rockwool trickling down through the hydrotin? :wondering


I am certainly missing something. Can some shine some light for me? :wondering

Lost, I think I recall that you hand water. Is that correct? If so what frequency, method do you use? Also what measurement (volume...etc.)

About 1/4 to 1/2 a gallon each day (guess). I dont want them too wet, I want them to reach for the water below.

thanks lost, the buckets fill up very even after I switched to a hard pipe, 1" pipe to 1/2", then to 3/4". The ebb fittings only work in 3/4", 1/2" ebbs are 1/2" OD not ID so they don't work for sprinkler hose. This fills much more consistently than a 3/4" flexi pvc feed line. I used your idea with the clear backflow valve as well, it's all working very nicely.

oh yeah, those are square plastic fence posts available at lowes or HD with a 3" hole drilled through them to support the PVC. It works great.

The res is a 150 gallon horse trough that I got at a feed store
