I have officially moved my first seeds out of the paper towel and into their next home. My question is when they pop free and they start getting artificial light.. Do they need to be hardened off to that light? I know moving plants indoor to outdoor I have to give them sun in small doses at first until they acclimate.

This is my light...

Can I go right for 18 hours of light or ease them into it?

And How far above the sprouted seedlings should this light be inside a 2x4x5 grow tent?

Thats because sun provides uv while leds does not. No need to acclimate.

Set a light schedule and stick with it or they will stretch and become lanky.

For starting, hang at 36” and adjust according to the plants response.
