I got a bag of that kelp from a giveaway, have yet to find a use for it still lol.. my grow methods are so basic I'm surprised it even works, but it does, even with RO water

I like ur simple method cap! I've run grows from start to finish with MC with good success, I just hate mixing it up in 5G jugs (getting old..) but it flat out works.I use it in flower, 10 grams per 10 gallons
Alongside the mega crop at 55gr per 10gal
Sweet candy 10g per 10g.
That’s is it.
Glad you have great results with that
Ro water too, Gatdamned. Hell yeah!
I do like the idea of a forum for either tutorials or maybe start-to-finish methods that are known to be successful. That's the key concept, I believe. Basically, simplify the process of how to grow good weed, each written for a specific growing style. Having followed a plan that's known to work, the new grower can then proceed to future growing with the confidence that comes from a positive experience. Thus, the task at hand is to provide a solid foundation from which anyone could apply and increase their own talents.
That's what 99% of new growers miss out on. They're pressured to train, top, fim and lollipop. While they spend hours and hours researching and studying all that they miss out on the fundamentals of how the plant naturally grows. You'll see what the plant naturally grows like.
That’s sucks, my ma used to live by a super fund fracking site. There was a company that had to install a crazy multi stage softness and heavy particulate filtration equipment at their house. They had the lids to the filters locked so you couldn’t get to what was filtered out to have it tested, to see what they are fucking poisoning people with. Man I wanted to sledge hammer that shit open so badly. The legal ramifications were Insane though. The water? It “sizzled” sometimes homie.I like ur simple method cap! But yep my water is really messed up, even with a water softener I won't drink it or give it to my plants
Agreed. Trying to run before they walk, worried about Max yield, not enough on proficiency and fundamentals of indica/sative growing. Those two are two completely different monsters. Autos mess with the newer folks too. But the videos on YouTube, while handy, show what these influencers can grow, instantly it sets an unreal standard making folks think they suck when they don’t pull donkers. Weight is something they should all work on after a few runs. Def agreeThat's what 99% of new growers miss out on. They're pressured to train, top, fim and lollipop. Well... TBH... I might write down or make a note on the computer if it's something I really need to remember during a grow. I also make notes when I'm studying something. I sometimes weigh seedlings in nursery cups to see how much water they're using. So, I do things like that. It’s not so much the notes I need, my dumb ass will forget if I hit them with an amendment or not a few days back and I’ll hit em again, journal keeps me on point![]()
Megacrop = purple stripes on stalk and fungal issues in roots. Never over watered a plant in my life. Except the entire room of megacrop in one shot. Bark turned to cum-scented slime by the time I pulled them. Lovely stuff smelling a room of cum all day wonder if it's gonna spread. Is this how calnit guys always feel?
I'd use their 2 part and replace the calnit with cal glycinate + glycinate EXCEPT they have way too much Mn for Cannabis. Ratios are nothing like the one part. The only reason I bought the shit is because I saw aminos but nope it's calnit.
This is something I feel we need to clean up. One guy has great success while the other doesn't. Sorry for using yall as an example. That's how it is tho. Works for one but not another. Maybe that system is ment for more experienced growers? Maybe there's key elements to why that is?Well, I have wonderful plants constantly with it. I haven’t had a single issue. It works for me man. Beautifully. Sorry to hear. Probably had a hot mix man.
This is my flower room. Everything in here is happy. None of the ailments you are explaining I have never seen.
I agree with you, plus you gotta think there is information overload today. There used to be so much less data to digest. All the while learning more from experimenting than anything else. Now there is literally endless knowledge, a bunch is outdated, a bunch is nonsense, and then you have the good stuff mixed in. It has to be overwhelming to sift through. That's just my 2 cents ✌Agreed. Trying to run before they walk, worried about Max yield, not enough on proficiency and fundamentals of indica/sative growing. My thought is, he was using mega crop a bit hot. If it was cut with water by a 1/3 - 1/2 it would have really calmed it down. The fact he had purple stems says to me, a- turn your lights down. Or b- your nitrogen is in the surplus. Also, with a system smelling like cum buckets (This is something I feel we need to clean up. One guy has great success while the other doesn't. That's why I'm looking for details. Step by step for beginners. We gotta dumb stuff down to the foundation. Maybe...like say you grow in dirt. What mix can I buy, drop a seed and grow a great plant? When do I water, when the meter says 'Dry' or 'moist'? Do I buffer my PH in my water before watering?
I get we all have our methods but im looking for tutorials that cater to new growers. Most who never even grew a cactus. It took me a long time to realize how much I have to dumb down stuff when I help new growers. I'm big about PH. New growers have me settled with saying to just keep the PH at 6 through the entire grow. Its easy for them and they will be successful. I could get scientific but that's when they get lost. So, PH6 the entire grow it is.
This is an example of things I want to omit for new growers. It's just an added piece to the puzzle that's ment for more experienced growers. It may not seem like much but when you add in other things like this growing becomes complicated.RO doesnt grow crappy weed man
Jusg gotta add back what you stripped from it its all about control of what you give your plants
I wouldent recommend it either its just a equipment upgrade to my small dwc grow tooThis is an example of things I want to omit for new growers. No to even mention, nutrient companies love RODI, more sales of calmag making the beginners startup cost more.
When I started growing, I kept detailed notes and took a lot of pictures. I'd recommend that to any new grower.
Oh no it’s all gravy here. I like the debate. This is something I feel we need to clean up. One guy has great success while the other doesn't. Sorry for using yall as an example. That's how it is tho. it’s insane.Post of the day! Worth at least a qwartah!
It used to be so easy helping people grow. Influenciers and marketing makes my life hell lol.
900?!? Holy cow! I've never seen it that high, you on a well? That's interesting. Yeah now you'd be the special new grower. Most people have it easy with good tap water then someone comes along like yourself and I gotta deviate and help them individually. In which I'd suggest RODI and let them know they gotta take extra steps.I wouldent recommend it either its just a equipment upgrade to my small dwc grow too
And my tap water has 900EC and there is no space for nutrients
I liturally live in a country made of calciumwater is soo hard
I'm enjoying it! Feels good to actually be able to conversate without hiding behind a random identity. Plus I've spent the past 4-5 years dealing with people who are new to all things cannabis.Oh no it’s all gravy here. I like the debate.
