Hello everyone, I'm TonyO61. I've just started my tent growing!! I have questions
1. I've got the light on a timer but does the fan run continuously?
2. Should my humidifier run continuously as I don't have a controller for monitoring
If I could get the help I would appreciate it.

once in flower better to run the fan 24/24 to evacuate humidity from transpiration at night and prevent mold

Hello and welcome to the farm.

1. I've got the light on a timer but does the fan run continuously?
That depends on the fan speed, size of the tent, life stage of the plant, the weather, etc.

2. Should my humidifier run continuously as I don't have a controller for monitoring

Usually not. Young plants like higher humidity than older plants.

An environment controller for your tent(?) would be the best solution. They have temperature and humidity sensors for placement inside the tent and use it to control such things as fans, humidifiers, heaters, etc.

A picture of your setup would be helpful.

(yeah my answer was more if you'r not or can't control vpd or humidity precisely)

"That depends on the fan speed, size of the tent, life stage of the plant, the weather, etc." is more accurate

I wasn't thinking VPD. Not yet, anyway. More information is needed. Hopefully, he'll post a picture so we'll have a better idea of how to help.
