Honestly dont even know what youre saying at this point. What's the light got to do with air circulation? Are you saying theres a fan in the light blowing heat down at it?
there is a lot of heat coming down from the lights onto my plants.. I am saying that will a heatsink direct more of that out the back instead of out the front? I feel this fan solution is out of date and perhaps for these less effeciant lights..

will a different of 2.2 vs 2.9 umol/j make a lot of difference on the amount of heat its putting out into the space you think?

Also I am saying that its such a small space that a big board like these kinda cuts the air circulation down a lot...

Anyway I got a samsung LED meanwell driver board... I figured I need to test it out and see what works..

I dont like the look of the viperspectra and they are too large and also not samsung and meanwell.. I think they will be on par with the fecida, which is an extremely powerful light with many good reviews on YT and Amazon.

More about how its distributing heat around my space and interacting with the air flow.

Do you have an online fan for the tent?
What you mean can my fan check its instagram? ;)

the fan is a normal extractor fan always on 100% at the moment. I hope that if I can get the temp under control a bit more I can have it lower speed as its right near my head when I sleep :(

but at this rate its been nearly 30 or over entire time its on I even put the cycle so its on at night to combat the heat..

I live in a tiny bedsit and when it gets hot outside it really heats up inside here!!
Also when I go out as I am on a single one storey little bedsit I cannot really leave any windows open so in the day it really heats up inside here :(

Yeah my plants look a bit messed up :(

Def seeing pistils on two of them...
I have a feeling what with being moved around and various things these plants might have finally had it.. I ordered some good genetics to replace them just hoped that this plant would be flowering while I was getting a mother ready and making clones.. :(
Might have to just chuck the mother right in once vegged and get another seed for the mother. I just want things to be moving along forwards hence trying to get it all right early on, changing things around a lot..

Dunno what is wrong with the plant now, maybe some light stress? it suddenly went up to 65000lux according to my app. I will buy a lux meter to get better readings.. was looking a bit droopy before it went into the tent originally, but perked up and now its much worse , some brown marks on the leaves, kinda like nutrients burn...

I got this light:

says meanwell driver and samsung led , if its not I will just make a fuss and return.

oh ok according to the images this light IS a spider farmer which have good reviews.. Or its fake haha but the seller has ove 1000 sales adn 99% good feedback..
SPIDER FARMER:
LED I GOT:

;)

well maybe I just got myself a super cheap spider farmer light!? I think I made the right choice to go samsung and meanwell if it is that...

:)

Hope with the increased efficiency and rear heat sink, it decreases the temperature!
Problem with growing in such a small space everything has a huge effect on the environment.

And will see if I just need to kill this plant and use one of the seeds when they arrive..

they are wet as I sprayed them..

yeah I think I got a bargain and wont regret upgrading last minute! Will be returning the fecida! good light but too hot..

what did you spray them with though? What has been your temps? Yellow could be heat stress? Also how is your watering practices? How often and how much? Also what are you feeding them? more information the better

it is heat stress for sure hence wanting to upgrade the lamp.
just water I sprayed on them..
not really doing anything just watering once the soil is very dry..

you're right thats from the heat stress I hope it clears up soon and I get a bit more growth as it is flowering.. but probably I will kill it and put a better plant in there

So you're not feeding any nutrients?

So you're not feeding any nutrients?
not at this point its in some pretty nutritious soil there! I will get some tomato feed or something .. I dont think a lack of nutes is the issue atm.
if you look at the history its not a good plant I just threw some rastaman seeds from my bussh weed into a pot outside and it started to grow pretty well.. only been in the tent for a week or so.. I mean its not a good genetic probably for this.. and when I put that fecida light in it made it super hot an I didnt clock right away.. temps beter now. moved it higher and turned it down a tad.. hope new light is less hot

it's 100% out of nutrients

The burnt tips and curling would be heat stress. but the yellowing is def a deficiency.

oh ok thanks a lot man!
I will get some nutes asap!
makes sense because it was looking a bit droopy and a pale before it even went into the tent!

hope so otherwise a bit of a waste of time and nothing will be growing until my next batch is ready :(

what your thoughts on how to trim in such a small space? stem it ? film it? or u think that will make it grow more horizontal and really I want a tall thin plant in such a space.. But also maximum light coverage and yield. Was thinking of putting a couple long strip lights along the side to get the coverage good right down low...

Yeah I wouldn't do any techniques in that tent unless you really want to. I would say wait until next grow and flower this as soon as possible cus these plants have gone through a bit of pain lol
