I must've removed at least 4L worth of leaves and branches that weren't getting any light. You can barely tell from the photo I took, but there is actually light that can touch the ground of my closet lol.

So I have a question. If I was to let this veg out for a little bit longer, my plants should get a boost, right? There's not as many leaves that are pulling energy and nutrition from the soil. I'm using granular nutrients from the dept. store as fertilizer. I'd like to let the fertilizer that's in the pot run its course before I add more, and ideally, I'd like to wait until I flip to flower before I add the next dose.

Will my fertilizer that's in the soil currently be used up more by the plant now that it doesn't have to worry about nourishing all the undergrowth that was going yellow and shrivelling up? Or would the fertilizer have been used up more prior to all the undergrowth being removed?
