Trying to find out what type of cord is used for the lights? Not the driver but the actual light, looking to extend them in a different configuration. Thanks

Can you take a pic of the cord/connector you're talking about?
I have the SE4500 and not sure if it's the same.

The connections for the light to what I would call the ballast. I don’t own the light so can’t send a good pic of what I’m looking for.

Hey did you ever figure this out?

I have the SE4500, it looks the same as the G4500.
Here is pics of the actual cable, it looks like a DC power cable

Looks like the extension in link below.
I have no idea if it really is the same but it looks damn close.
If it is the same connection, the next step would be finding one with the proper gauge wire.

You could just splice and extend with a couple pieces of wire and conduit.
Just make sure to leave enough wire to put new wire onto the original connectors.

I would do that as a last resort if under warranty.

I was taking amperage readings at different intensity to calculate into watts and I remembered you asking about the cables so took a few pics.

This is great information and much appreciated!

Good call on the wire size, something I didn’t think about.

Im going to experiment with side lighting in a new grow space and looking for a dimmable light bar option that can be modified. I think these lights would make a great option for something like that.

The lights would not be blasting at full power and really only use during mid/late flower.

It’s hard to tell, but the newer series G seems different and may not have the DC style pigtails. I was hoping I could find one like yours used somewhere down the road.

I thought you were looking at the older G4500, the picture of the manual you posted was for the older G4500.
It looks like the new model G and SE series come assembled and don't have visible connectors for the light bars anymore.
Manual extension might be the only way for the new series.

I think the DC style is what a lot use.
They come in different sizes though, I could measure it with calipers for the exact size.

I have AC Infinity Ionbeam S16 supplement lights bars, it has the same connections as my SE4500.
I have a few of the extension cables the ACI light came with and it plugged right into the SE4500 and functioned properly so I'm thinking a lot of manufacturers use the same style.

I'll see if I can find an install video of the G4500 and see if the connector is the same as mine. I think to keep manufacturing costs down, they would use the same but maybe not.
The manual picture is just a drawing and doesn't really show what it actually looks like but it still does look similar to a DC in the picture you circled in the manual.

Here is a picture of the AC Infinity Ionbeam extension cable that fits my Spider Farmer SE4500
They don't have the same locks as the spider farmer but they power everything properly.

@Captspaulding

Maybe you can help!
You have the Spider Farmer G4500 right?

Can you look at my pictures below and tell me if your G4500 has the same led light bar connection as my SE4500

Trying to help the OP find extensions that fit the G4500 light bars so they can run them in a different configuration but not 100% if my SE4500 has the same type connections.
Thanks!
