LST or Natural Grow for Autoflowers?

I am about to grow some
Critical purple flowers.

I wanted to know if it's better to go for a natural untrained grow versus low stress training.

From what I understand autoflowers don't like to be messed around with as much.

Also my grow space is a window which has a lot of vertical height but very limited width.

This will be my second time growing cannabis and I'm inclined to try and let it grow naturally like a Christmas tree and just do some simple defoliation and tucking of leaves.

But I would like some advice on this particular plant strain and what you all have experienced.

Since you don't have the lateral space, but do have heigth, I'd go "au naturel".

Thats a typical to the point 3 x 3 auto flower grow. I use 5 or 7 gal. bags in my 3 x 3 and just let the tent fill up with the autos. With the big humidifier I have now in the tent It will be limited to three plants....

I did some bending on my autoflowers this last round, not sure if it helped or hurt more. Gonna do another round, maybe run some doubles, stress one plant and leave the other.

When I google it it’s pretty much no across the board, but you can always try it anyways lol

The 1st set of pics until the sprouts is purple punch auto that I FIMMED and used LST. 2nd set is THC Bomb auto and did LST and topped.

Question if someone does get to this when should a person lollipop an auto(these are in pre-flower basically) and should I even do it or just let it go?

Your plants look great, i wouldn't take off any leaves.
The max. for me on autos is just a couple of fan leaves which block newer shoots, better keep them away from blocking with lst.
Don't defoliate during flower, it could slow down or stunt the plant.
Preflower is the last time to prepare autos for flower.

I’ve had good luck with LST on autos and feel you can increase yield quite a bit. I’ve accidentally topped autos also, and they’ve also been fine as well. Here’s a shot of my current grow, all LST, the one lower left accidentally topped. Staggered start with these, so they’re in different stages of growth. Good luck. Solo pic is a recently harvested plant, lots of lst to promote multiple colas rather than one big one at the top. Good luck!

BUT I made MANY MISTAKES in that GROW.

I ended up getting A LOT of MOLDY BUD and no Purple Hies.

If you have any left over auto seeds I recommend you look into solo cup autos. They tend to be very upright and not very wide.

I've seen people grow to harvest and get 2-4 ounces of flower per plant without ever taking it out of the solo cup. You really need to be mindful of nutrient lockout, overwatering and the possibility of them becoming root bound with this method.
