Male of female plants? Also what is this??

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also not sure if this has to do with the sex of the plant or not, but a saw a dark green bulge around on of the branches connected to the main stem, not quite sure what that is.

Please help!

I get that swelling you see at the base of the leaves when i top or defoliate and seems perfectly normal to me. I dont see any pre flower sex organs yet.

That’s exactly what I was hoping to hear!!

Do you see any signs of sex? Or is it too early? She’s about 5 weeks into veg
