Don't fret Bret!

I have regular F2s here myself.
Due to the law of only 5 plants total I take a wild guess myself.
Although after growing these F2s for three years I can smell the difference between them being Male or Female.
I smell a girl in the mix and soon I will be able to go in there at lights out and if I smell Cherry at that moment the lights shut off, as I have every year, then I'll know for sure I got a hearty Girl.
It's been cold and I have been smelling berry. That's is not what I know about these F2s. They emit a waft of Cherry when the HPS kicks off. Has to be the cold air.
So don't feel down.
Personally I am hoping for one girl and if I get two then that will be excellent. I'd say I have two male at this time and two female.
My eyes are not what they used to be but they do show early. I see one with some "hairs" so that one is likely a girl. The hook in the crook is a guy I think.
I'll get out the magnifier or snap pictures on the phone with a camera stand.
These guys seem to have gotten dialed in on growth. Right light and the Tea seems perfect. They are in better shape going under the HPS then the others.
Male vs femalecannabis plant

This was a random seed that was given to me. So again I'm not sure, I don't want to infect the rest of my actual known plants(pink runtz, and Royal haze)
was it showing bud and balls like on my pictures? Anyways, its time to kill that plant.
You dont want seeded flower, unless you are trying to breed a new strain.

You know, this is the first year where I actually measured light distance and I had ChatGPT custom make a bubble-ur-own manure tea recipe. I never measure out so little dry stuff like it did and yet look at it grow!
My plants are super growing. By that I mean I have not seen that much veg energy before in these F2s.
I did go in and look at my shorty now that they are in the big room. It's got a Christmas Bulb on the tree just hanging there. So I'm a bit confused with what looks like speed growing. In my mind it's too soon to be ready to flower but hey. Perhaps everything was perfect? The Light was set right. Fifteen gallon organic soil, custom made Manure Tea and the temperature was in the zone.
So, why am I worried? They never Herm but all that growth is a concern. My eyes are on it.
Anyway it looks like I defiantly have one Male. Then one of my legal 5 died as a seedling so that frees up two spots in the stay out of jail club grow. Maybe time to try out some of the F2 regulars I crossed with Blue-Dream last summer. Would be nice to try out some of that experimental cross. She (Blue Dream Fem) had three males. One shorty, one Indica leaning and the "Apollo the God" looking hybrid; he had height like the Indica but the beauty of the Sativa in how it flowered. I will be looking for his kids.
With Herms most often it's light stress. Be sure your LED power lights are covered. Unless you know for a fact that any Green LED is an approved Green LED. Pseudo-green light can be what causes the stress. Red power lights are a no go too. They may look like they won't hurt but it doesn't take much to cause light stress.
