The light you just got will do a 2x3, maybbbbe 2x4 area flowering, no problem, maybe not the best of yields but DEFINITELY worth-while until you get your setup going. Just about anything is better than those homedepot $60 lights- a 2ft bar putting off 32w? Psh thats 16w/sqf nopppe 4" away itll get a seedling its first leafys but not much else...
Oh and also hasnt been mentioned much but Really pay attention to your humidity and temps, seedlings need higher humidty, 60-70%, and gradually goes down thru veg mostly keep around 50%, then about halfway into flower drop to 35-40% and watch the frostiness commence :) and consider looking into some nutrients. Foxfarm for example makes some easy to use bottle nutes you just add into water, but if you have questions ask because you can over-do it quickly too
I figured it wasn't enough not nearly as bright as grows I've seen and so then what would you suggest getting a second one of those or the one you have too? I'm not gonna run more than 6 to8 at a time and so would that brown cabinet just be used for clones then and put the seedlings right under the 175w instead? Like do only clones with the 35w or what's the best way to go I still plan on taking the 4ft home Depot ones back and I was planning on buying a light anyway but ended up getting that one...I def need nutrients I use foxfarm ocean soil from what I read it was popular so that's why I chose it I wanted roots organic but wasn't available and ya I'm stumped on nutrients tbh idek where to start but I'm sure they could use it I'm using spring water from the store for watering with a pump sprayer I really wanna do it right and get a great quality since I'm all into it lol

if that 175w light you just got is only a loaner, i definitely would recommend looking into those samsung lm301b/h diode led lights. Various configurations of the 240w panel i showed you earlier is most common used in the led scene right now without dropping upwards for 1000 for the big bar light fixtures like gavitas or whatever
It was a gift so its mine but I'm prob gonna grab the Samsung one I've heard alot of good things about their diodes but then idk what I'd do with this other 175w one?

Use both. Either side by side or do one veg space and one flower, as well as your smaller lights in the cabinet for seedlings :) then youll be able to grow perpetually always something in each stage

That's what I really wanna do so I always have something going...what are your thoughts on the water I use and what I should do nutrients wise and what medium do u use?

I just grow in soil. Originally i planted in miracle grow but have since switched to foxfarm. Happy Frog and/or Ocean Floor. Their nutrients would just be Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom bottled nutes. As to how much and when etc, thats much more complicated and depends on stage of growth and their individual needs, but there are some generic feeding schedules you can follow for a base-line starting point and fine-tune from there

Awesome I'm gonna go with that then looks like they have a kit with all 3 got the new light all set up and I'm getting alot better light readings now what to do with this 4ft POS lol

Well, its a seedling starter lamp basically. Maybe could take up some kitchen herb growing with it? 😊

That's a good idea...it'd work for like growing cooking herbs?
Yup most places that sell gardening seeds will sell variety herb packs with like 5 different things basil parsley etc, that stuff would grow just fine under the lower wattage leds

Looks like a totally confused plant. My opinion destroy it quickly while removing it carefully. It might be to late if you have other plants.

Hey donodiesel, if the goal of growing out quality bud " sensimilla" without seed , then hermaphrodite plants are highly undesirable , the male " nanner " will open and disperse pollen on your flowering bud , thereby switching them from seedless bud to a completely different bud , one that has seeds....

Seeded bud is ok if thats what you want , but almost all growers have a specific goal , and surprises are not part of the plan , most growers will see a surprise male " hermaphrodite " as an unwanted event , it might not bother you....

Hermaphrodites often appear for a few reasons , it can be a trait passed on from hermi tendancy parents , it can be a result of stress like "light leaks " in your growroom or nutrient stress .....

Seeds created in your growroom can now be innocently passed to friends or others that dont have the desire to pollinate by
surprise by using the
genetics you gave them....

Many , including me have no problem smoking " seeded " weed , but its not really something anyone wants to be surprised with....

You can kill the plant , or if you want to have peace of mind , closely look for a yellow dust , thats the pollen , if you dont see any , then you may not have an issue , if you do find it then assume that your other plants have been pollinated and continue growing them or toss them and get more stable seeds...
