MC`s Forest Adventure

I had 4 males out of the 5 surviving seedlings 2 chem 91, one chem 91 x Tok and one cherry Kush. I`m planning on taking some clones and making some crosses. Nothing big. do any of the males have a real heavy skunk funk to them? Those are what I would save!

Hey markscastle are you going to be growing the Tok this year? And which is better Chemdog 91 X Tok or Tok?

No not growing any of my own genetics this year ,other than the few seedlings that made it through the snow, hail, and frost. This is a cash crop to help me get working on my farm. I`m setting on my easement to my property with permission of the owner. It is right next to a county unmaintained 4x4 road. My easement goes 3/4 of a mile to my property and is also a dirt road. It runs into a spring feed creek just inside my property and has washed out the road. My property is bordered by BLM and US Forest Service on two sides of the 10 acres. It is also very wooded and the top half is steep. I need to come up with 6000+ grand to survey the property , besides putting in a culvert over the creek and have a large pad put in. I also need a septic, well, and because there is no nearby power lines , solar power with a good generator for back up. Then I can fence the pad in to keep bear and deer out and start to build. My problem has been the cost of living on the easement , fuel ,repairs , break downs, etc. I didn`t have much to start with after my home was foreclosed on in the valley. The land is paid for and property taxes are kelp up. I refuse to ever get a loan again in my life time after being screwed by Wells Fargo Bank in the housing mess ! Banks are evil corporations!!! My plan is to make an organic small farm / ranch and live on what I make as well as my Social Security. I need a proper set up to do breeding projects with the 22,000 + strains of cannabis I`ve collected in the last 54 years. Then I`ll start back up MC`s Seeds or may use my older name of Sunshine Seeds Citra 1969-71. I also have permission to use one of my partners old seed company names ` Sacred Seeds`. But I don`t plan on doing that. I lack capitol and now have more health problems but I still think it`s doable. One reason is because once I get the servey done I have an interested party who is a logger / heavy equipment operator who will put the pad in and cut some of the 3000 + cords of fire wood and $8000 worth of timber and give me half the income. I should end up with just less than $350,000.00 to build with. I just need to be set up to live comfortably through the Winter and until the logging and fire wood is removed and everything is cleared. I`ll also need to go through an other Winter and what ever it takes until the infrastructure is in. If I don`t get ripped, have major break downs or other problems again I should be moved in in the next two years? There is also the possibility I may buy property with infrastructure in place and below the snow line, closer to resupply and sell my property. It`s what my son thinks I should do. Even if my property was all done with a house ,etc. it gets snowed in for up to two weeks at a time a couple times every Winter.

The greenhouses will save me 40% of my investment and labor destroyed from early rain each year and if I can get them set up for year round growing I could triple my production. That`s why I`m working so hard to get them completed. It`s a shame It will all need to be moved though.

I see what your doing, sounds like a lot of work. I belive you can accomplish what you started. Just keep on keeping on, don't loose hope! But I'll tell you somthing, best belive that when everything is said and done and you get your seed company up your gonna make tons of money because it seems like you have a whole bunch of landrace and heirloom genetics. That's what people need now days and that's is what is in high demand, especially now that weed is getting leagalized and decriminalized across America and the world. New breeders and growers are coming up and they are gonna get tired of the same ole OG kushes and trainwreck, skunk, GSC, sour desiel, northern lights ect. They are gonna want to make there own strains from old landrace base strains, on top of that the old school sativa and indicas that most people can't get or Find, people want to be reunited to their favorite childhood old strains that bring them joy and happyness. I think you can do all of that and more, it's just a madder of getting threw the obstacles and once you do victory will be very rewarding!

Got the second greenhouse supports up but need more lumber to do the last one. I`m going to squeeze out some more water from the creek and will look at tanks when I go for lumber tonight.

I hope to be doing more breeding next year and when I`m set up I`ll be going to town on projects. May take awhile before any are ready to market as I want to sell very stable genetics, I`ll be doing all the seed runs myself . I don`t want to have what happened to swerve happen to me! I Plan on starting any strains put up for sale here at the farm weeks ahead of any other place. It`s my way of saying thanks to Logic for hosting this thread for so long!

I didn`t even know they carried them? Or you can order them maybe? I`d need them shipped to a store for pickup as I don`t have a street address in the forest.

they both have them in stock usually. Home depot in oroville had 20 outside last time I was there. Tractor supply in oro is typically better supplied than chico. You can haul it in a full size pickup with ratchet straps, I have plenty of times. Or HD will deliver for you too.

PBM on meyer st in chico is the last resport, only because they charge a bit more. But they also deliver.

I can carry em if I take my water tank and lumber rack off and I have some ratchet straps but if I take the lumber rack off I`ll need to get something to tie them to. Maybe some of those things that pop into the holes along the beds ? Anyway rather not have them delivered. Thanks I`ll go to Oroville then tonight.

no its really big, lumber rack would be in the way. I just use my ratchet straps along the edge of the bed, It is pretty big, even with my big crew cab chevy one ton it looks kinda silly, but it works. just put the domed side of the tank facing your rear window for the air flow to go smoothly around the tank.

I sopped by Home depot and they didn`t have any in stock. left late so didn`t have time to check Tractor Supply. They did say they could order a 2500 gal tank at Home depot but I`d have to come back tomorrow as the order persons weren`t their. I`ll check Tractor Supply by phone and then call Home depot to find out how long it would take to order. The creek is running about 3 gal a min. and it`s taking an hour and a half to fill the 275 gal cage tank in the truck. It`s only going to get worse. I have about a month and a half until the plants start into flower and then they will slowly use less water. It also may start to cool down by then and may even rain? I can`t be sure if I can make it. There is an other stream that runs on the other side of the ridge but I`d have to bother my buddy down the way to pump it from his place every time. Anyway I`d like the option of more water storage. I could have it filled when I don`t have enough time to run for water so I can get other things done.

I am surprised a little that they were sold out. Try both stores in chico too. Or PBM usually has stock and will very likely price match.

I know of people who have got their water rights suspended for this year so do be careful.

Besides that, it only take the water truck 10 minutes to fill 4000 gallons for you! Time is money well spent in my opinion. I have a few different water haulers if you ever need a recommendation.

I`m racing to get the supports done on my greenhouses, order plastic and get the screens up on at least the smaller plants. All I need is it to take 1.5 hours to pump water from the creek per trip. Yes I have water rights but they can be suspended during the time trout spawn. I have no idea when trout spawn? It`s so dam dry this year. I`m more and more worried about fires. I can`t see how this drought will not affect outdoor prices for some time to come! And our state isn`t the only one involved. I`m still hopeful it won`t be a El Nino year on top of everything else. Wish I had a well drilled on my property! Lets all do some praying for rain this year! May put up an add `Wanted ,the staff of Moses ! I could use a good strike at my spring location!

watcha talkin bout mark
my best gary colman impersonation
road kill what pics plz shit even old ones i needa good drool
lol
No pics , sorry! Haven`t grown the road kill in some time , maybe the seeds are to old by now. But maybe not. I`m not a fan of skunk myself, way to much smell for me. Last time I grew them it smelled so bad like a dead skunk when in flower I almost got sick watering them! I can handle the sweet skunk ok but it can still smell very bad on some of them.
