Yeah hlg 600... I have no complaints... Well maybe a bit better light spread but I'm pleased with it.

I agree only changes i would want is a longer cord to mount the driver outside the tent and itd be awesome with an aluminum frame and 4 boards with one in each corner and a 5th board in the middle. There some other ppl that done made diy kits like that.

I mounted mine outside. Just go to the hardware store and get 18g solid core thermostat wire.

If i figure out that ill be building and buying new boards. Do you know where we can find the same power cord used with the same screw connectors that are on the cord? Or is that what you just told me to go to to the hardware store to get?

No that's the wire from the driver to the light. So you can mount the driver outside

Thanks bubba id rather build a light to my needs than buy another that has a extra price tag beacause it has a sticker with a brand name on it.

Just looked at mine. It's 14g stranded wire. Hell even an extension cord cut off will work the same.

Now let me find the connector

They just buy bulk it's the same. Just find 14g stranded wire with a smooth jacket. Can even go 12g if you like.

Kinda odd though that wire is 16/3 mine I'm sure is 14/3. Maybe I'm just getting old lol

Yeah it would work but I prefer at least 14g when running small appliances. Basically the lower the gauge the more current can safely be put through it without risk of failure or fire. Normal house wiring for a 15 amp breaker is 14g.

Alright i fed these girls again today another gal. Looks like i need to be doing 1 and 1/2 gal every watering now and it looks like they got some burnt tips again. Fk gotta be from low rh and drinking to much and i went from 2.5ml where they looked happy to 3ml. So I guess ill bring it back down again on next watering. Ill post pics on week 4. in between ill just rant about shit

Looks like I’m getting bleaching from light at 620 watts at 18 inches which is high as it’ll go. Sucks I really wanted to do a gpw test for first time growing in tent. Now I turned it down to 590. Idk if that’ll be low enough or not.
