Micro grow question

Hey everyone I just have a quick question hopefully someone can give me some insight. A buddy of mine gave me his dr40 to veg in but recently some plans have changed and I am wondering if it would be safe to run my 400w hps in there I obviously have fans to run but I was just wondering if it would be a hazard to try and run my 400w hps in there. Any feedback is appreciated Thanks!!

how big is the dr 40 ? i run a 400hps in my veg cupboard(1mx1mx1m), if you can control heat and rh no worries even added exta cfl:rasta2:

ran myself a 600 w/batwing in a 3x3 tent with a 4"can fan, managed ok.....

no worries, i used a 430 for a 2x3 tray no problems

vented proper that 400 will do wonders for you!
are you going to use an air cooled hood? if so it would basically be like hanging mylar from your hood and making a light bath!
it'll work great! as long as you can keep the heat off of your plant
