For a 2x2 a viparspectra xs1500 pro would fit in there nicely as well and it's alot cheaper and y also get great results with.
Which are y currently using?

I actually have a viperspectra xs1500 for starting plants and veg, also have 2 ac infinity ion board S22 150w currently running in both my 2x2 tents.
Was looking at the Spiderfarmer SE 3000 because of blackfriday sale.

@joeerootz you using the SE 3000 in a 2x2 tent or a 3x3 tent. Just Wondering because I might upgrade to the SE 3000 if it will fit in my 2x2x5 spiderfarmer grow tent

It’s actually in a 4x4 tent the top net is 32x32” though so I’m really concentrating them to under 3x3

Here’s the 4x4 and the 4x8, the 2x2 and the 2x4 are in another room

Plants are loving it for sure, I could easily veg the full 4x4 with this light no problem, I’m sure it’d flower the full 4x4 if needed but I’d upgrade to the SE5000 to get better coverage wall to wall, this is model is perfect for what I wanted with a single plant with great airflow around the canopy, getting much more even par values side to side than I expected from the footprint size, can honestly say I like it so far, and plant is loving it, can’t wait to see how it holds its own in flower, only time will tell but we’ll see! New Timelapse is only a few days away

I wanta try growing it outdoors next year, but I'd like to know how long the flowering time is when you start seeing amber.
Southeast Mich. doesn't have a very long summer.

It’s really all strain dependent, I usually start to see amber on average around the end of week 8, I usually go till week 8.5-9 minimum, outdoors it’s weather dependent, we get short summers up here in the northeast as well, temps drop quick, can get random blizzards lol 65 one day, -20 and 4’ of snow the next, wake up 24 hours later ti no snow, raining with floods and 75f

Did you flowered also with the vipar and or in comparison to the ion?
Would be interested of the results. Can't complain the results in my tent. The 2x2 would be set with it, Veg+Flower.
I love my vipar but also would replace for a bigger one which one for 3x3, includes UV + IR with spectrum control, had my eyes on: https://www.adjustawings.com/products/vs3-led/
Mine is in a 3x3 and I think for upcoming purposes it's not enough. Was just playing around but now I will make some yield and fill the tent everytime.

Wtf!? Would love a more extreme weather but we just get rain, little storms, not too hot summers and almost no winter incl. Snow here...it suck.

I got the SE5000, it is for my 4x4. Very good light! I could have got one smaller though, as it was meant just for veg. But this does mean, in Winter, I can have 2 Flower chambers so I am happy with my purchase.

Don't think other lights would have done much better but still a newbie so idk.
What a Powerful light!
Doesn't the new version has Evo diodes(less heat and more output?)
Guess it's more expensive as well but never the less the light is dope.

My tent temps dropped about 7f from the light I was running at 300w before, and my PPFD is about 150 higher at same distance, and power output

This new upgraded SE3000 with the H-Series Samsung LM301H’s are killin it for sure, the plant health is all I need to see!

Growth is super happy and lush deep green, drinkin a gallon and a half to 2 gallons every 2 days. Have been using Alaska fish fertilizer and gave a full top dress

1 gallon promix
5tbs Gaia green 4-4-4
12tbs Gaia green 2-8-4
3tbs azomite
2 cups Earthworm Castings
3 tbs each COM ( coast of Maine)
Lobster meal
Fish bone meal
Kelp meal
3tbs Epsom

nah thats a 12 gallon pot, this one and pheno 3 in the other tent are in the 12's, the 1 gallon plants are hangin up drying, and the 2x2 micro scrog tent is still goin

i had 10 gallons approx in the pot already, i mixed the listed amendments into a gallon of promix to top dress with (big plants big top dress lol)

this is also all reused promix from the last organic run

Gotcha.... I was gonna say..... DYAAAAAAAAM>... !!!!! Homeboy got it like THAT! good call on mixing it like that. I hate rubbing it in the topsoil and disturbing the feeder roots.. this makes a lot of sense. I just grabbed (first time) some Pro Mix last week, anxious to see how it compares to the Happy frog. Good to see another (true) soil grower. Seems like only a few here

Drop dead gorgeous plant there.

The budding begins! Looking great dude, shes already reached the 2nd net, I think she will settle in well. She has plenty of support gonna be a cola city real soon.

Thanks fam! Yeah she’s lookin nice! I’d like to see about another 4-8” of stretch but it may just be that this light is really killin it and keepin that stretch down, other plant definitely damn near tripled in height, we’ll see how she does she’s probably got another 8-9 days of stretch I’m seein about an inch a day at this point she’s got tighter nodes too excited to see how she does

Lotta flexibility in this scrog, I can lower the 2nd net rises if needed to bring more of the lowers into the net if they don’t staretch as far, then bring the light down, looking to get around 800-850 PPFD to the tops after stretch
