Nice soil, looks really loamy. 👍
It is 😁 I’m on a creek bed, the creek is 200 feet wide, 50’ deep now, and about a 30’ drop from my backyard lol. The part that is piled up and covered is about 1/4 fox farms lucky dog peat moss tilled in, with a Few cups of gypsum, the large darker section of the garden is all filled up compost from last year nothing new added. The covered section will be the hot pepper bed, im trying to increase the heat around the plants and root zone, supposedly that plus less water should produce hotter peppers, so the black fabric I hope will help raise the tempature around those plants. I’m at the top of the old riverbed soil is half sand basically, but the trees are loving it that I planted last year, these where all 2 foot bare root whips last spring they hit the ground, there all starting to leaf out and the apple blossoms are already out

All the trees are beginning to leaf out but these honeycrisp are really loving the weather lately, whole week of 75-82 crazy warm for this time of year

Gotta get them some fruit tree neuts, almost time to give them their first pruning, starting to see what’s what now, once the peach trees and nectarine trees catch up I’ll prune them all at once

Couple pics of what it looks like from my backyard behind the fence

Allright folks, where to begin 😂

Been a busy week and a half or so, but started out last week with a deficiency, while thinking and taking to @Shaded_One and @GNick55 i figured it out to be a calcium def, I had used pellitized gypsum instead of water soluble.

I made the kelp/gypsum tea as a quick fix and gave about a 1/2 gal of it to each just as a quick uptake boost, it appears to have worked here’s some before pictures had light green growth coming in

All the plants have their 2 week Shaded_One’s Gaia method amendments on top of the soil and ready when I water tomorrow or the next day when they are ready, but here is how the girls look now about 3.5 days after their kelp/gypsum tea

Badly affected leaves have been removed, leaves that had a lot of curl and light tips are relaxing back out and green is slowly returning to the tips 😁

Definitely had white tips, light height 30” at 20% seeing some green returning to the tips in leaves that weren’t completely damaged. They are improving, not where I want them to be yet, but they seem to be going in the right direction, hopefully after the next watering with correct gypsum etc, we’ll see next week i guess

Besides that the cement shoes are doing great in both the strawberry fields and the one in lucky dog,

Started a runtz auto from a friend yesterday in a 3 gallon pot in the veg tent just for some mid photo grow harvest fun lol

So I was talking to the wife before work and I priced out building a 1.5” PVC 5’x35’ identical design scrog table I made for the tent but for a full garden row for tomatoes, price for everything is about $250 so it’s something I’m contemplating, gotta stop by a few places j in might be able to get a. Few free lengths of pipe and elbows and tees from some friends and family then I’ll buy whatever else is needed

My parents neighbor was a collage horticulture professor, he also taught chemistry, he grows some insane shit, but cool part was he could order any type of seeds for educational purposes

There’s a lot of poppies that grow around my parents house nowadays although they are “ornamental” since they don’t get picked or harvested in any way lol
