I’m 9 days from flip now and they are movin for sure! Probably 4-6” of stretch already, these cuts normally doubled in stretch so I’ll keep pullin em for about 5-6 more days then let ‘em tech for the sky like I said above after about day 14 I’ll stop tuckin and that’ll give em about another foot to stretch
There about 3” below the net currently some more some less I’m not under watering so they should go full stretch I still have about 20” before I’d get nervous about height so if they stretch an inch per day I should hit right about there, we’ll see though! I’ve grown Frostette through the bars on this FD6500 before but I also am running the UV / IR bars 3x a day last time I ran those in stretch I noticed less stretch and closer internodal spacing so I’m hoping I see that same growth again
I tuck until that time frame as well. Usually between day 14 and 17 I stop tucking to make sure they can still grow above the trellis and allow nice bud formation. The scrog is the way to go in a tent.

Just chopped my 4. Not a big fan on the bud structure too much fox tail for my liking but great smell and trichomes coverage see how these turn out in a month or so. My cover crop is outta control. Would you chop and drop now with lights off for 2 weeks or wait and chop and drop it when I get the light back in there in a couple weeks then drop it?

That tall main yeah, a bit, but that large cola to the left looks so similar to my kahuna 3 last run, even that tight leaf curl, one of my favorite smokes, they look great!

The line itself is called masons string, it’s a string line for laying brick and block, holds up to wear and tear great (figure you use it around cinder block and brick and mortar and they hold up awesome. Works great under heavy tension as well, my net outter frame bends in slightly, I keep it tight, helps when branches start really pushing up

I use 2 nets so this method is a shade different, for single nets I continue weaving and tucking for about 2 weeks figuring that’ll give them about a week to stretch up and fill in

When I double net like this I keep the distance between the nets because instead I’ll tuck for about 10-12 days then let them stretch like hell up that last foot - foot and a half to fill in through the last (days 14-21) week and a half

Take into account rate of stretch, figuring about 21 days from flip till the end of stretch, then figure how high they need to go to reach your top canopy Goal,

Example: if you have a goal, say you need them to stretch up 20”, look at your stretch rate (I measure daily usually to see if they are moving fast or slow) stretch lasts roughly the first 2.5 - 3 weeks after flip, so you’re at day 10 since flip, plants are growing at 1.5” per day, you need them at this point to stretch 16” to reach your goal, so 16 divided by 1.5 would be 10.66 days

Personally If I calculated that on day 10 of stretch that’d be my last tuck day, I know I’ll average 1-1.5” of stretch based off measurements daily to meet the height goal you set, then stop tucking and let them fill in, it’s a guessing game. Some stretch faster, some slower, along stretch for longer time periods, some less works better with clones some plants double, some triple, working with clones you’ve ran before you can better anticipate how much she’ll stretch on average
Thanks for the info, much appreciated. 💯🔥

It’s crazy I hear it now and then hit its years apart, real rare. Jim Cantore from the weather channel would be losing his mind right now 🤣 it’s actually rockin the house pretty good

Other than yesterday it was 55f outside and right now I’m having thunder snow outside and it’s 20f lol
Sun came out today! Up until that point the weather was all weird over here! I think we’re in the home stretch of real spring and not these 4 day fakers! 🤣

hope it warms up for you sooner than later! ✌️

I know we’re headed in that direction, I plan to start my spring seedlings in another 2 weeks, I’ll be fine with being a tad behind won’t have to store them in the greenhouse as long

When do you put yours outside? We are also going through springs head fake. I think our safe date for outdoors is after Mother’s Day

Yeah right around there, I’d say any time from may 15-30 is the starting safe zone for me, I’m starting to lean on the later start plant around April 15th plant around April 15-30 the maters take a bit longer built I think they do better when they go in and the ground is really staying in that 52-54f zone, nights 50 and above. I get nervous of late freezes and frosts I mean last night we got a half inch of sleet, and temp as 22 ish it was weird how much we got, lightening, thunder crazy cool. Now it’s 44 and high will be 62 and it’s still thundering and lightening out lol just went out and smoked a bowl and was like wtf now it’s warm? 🤣

And that’s why I keep pics from last year and leave the dates on em lol, last year was a early start but I’ll still lean for the later start it’s Gunna be a busy year anyways

that canopy is inspiring.
Thanks goner! Much appreciated it’s not much work really, mostly moving the leading growth tips along to where to want the fill to go and adjusting the lower nodes to the correct spaces as the grow out, once the canopy develops it starts to regulate itself to open spaces around day 21 remove all the lowers that are under the canopy and your work is done 🤘🤘

Very easy actually, the corners are really cool, I like em probably took 10-15 minutes to put together from box opened to zippers closed (and taking pictures)

The walls on this tent are super thick too with the canvas on the outside she feels stiffer, much sturdier feeling than my other tents

Even came with patches for the Mylar!

I can’t leave Frostette out, she’s looking awesome after I spread her out yesterday, few more days I think and she’ll be close to flip time, we’ll see I’ll flip her when she’s just right 😁
