Kahunas got thei defols done what a hell of a job, climbing and sliding around under that canopy somehow I managed to sneak up through the canopy and lower the lights it’s time to rock, increased PPFD from 500 to 750-780 power is only slightly increased and that’s where they’ll sit for the next 3-4 weeks then I’ll begin backing down the power slightly,

the frostette is rippin now filling out nice we’ll see how she looks in another 2 weeks!
Now that I got the 3 x 3 x 6 tent finally I'll have to run some kahuna soon myself!

Somewhere over the rainbow.....

Someday bro....

Looks great!
It comes together faster than you think, avoid buying large amounts of gear at once, watch for deals, Amazon always has large coupons regularly, like my FC-E4800 it was $369 but was on sale, was at like $320, then Amazon had an additional $60 instant off coupon

But watch for stuff like that and slowly add to your gear I almost never buy full price items, I buy stuff I want ahead of time for the next grow

Between your indoor and outdoor endeavors I am constantly left in awe. This looks like a back breaking amount of work! I get exhausted just following your threads. On top of that your results go to 11.

Thank you for making me feel like such a slouch 💚

I can't even seem to pop a bean....
Struck out again.
Bummed.
You soaking them? Try grinding the end of the seed down just a tiny pit with a fingernail file. I have never tried this but i have had some old timers suggest this when popping older beans. Soak them for days if you have too. Just change out the water : ) you got this brother! 💪✌️

Thanks fam haha, I’m not even including the painting work, I set up scaffold on the far side of my house today (log home as I’m sure you’ve seen a bit of) and caulked and wood filled anything that needed it, 4 tubes of caulk and 1 tub of wood filler on each side I’ve done do far but the logs look fucking amazing, they were beat to hell from the sun I’ll grab some comparison pics in a bit

Then I also laid out 10 bags of mulch, went to the store to get more they were out, had to order 30 more bags they’ll call me when they are in (all for the new berry strip) so 1/3 is mulched, and I grabbed some 2 gallon buckets that will serve as raised beds to get the bare roots 3-4” of well draining soil so they won’t be over watered before they can establish a root base, gunna work on that after I finish caulking

In ti l then wife made me sit down for a steak and haddock lunch then I can get back at it with a nice beer 🤣

Then more burgers and hotdogs for dinner, I passed out drunk on the couch around 4pm yesterday, spilled 1/8 of a beer on the couch said ooop alcohol abuse gotta slam it down and go to bed after a fattie 🤣

Oh break it down give me some details

Method start to finish, everything you’ve tried, I saw you were having some issues with seeds popping

I just lost a round of seeds myself and replanted with a different method, if that dosent work I’ll do another, sometimes seeds are finicky, sometimes they’ll wanna pop in a dry bag lol,

Just came inside. I was laying them on a damp/moist paper towel and covered w the same inside a sealed donut package. I covered the container with a shirt and placed on top of a heat pad.
I check it through the day and pray that they pop.
Just took the latest batch out of that contraption and dunked em in a solid cup with pond water.
My well water is literally poison.
I'm just inland from the Atlantic and the water around here is nasty.
.I've lost 27 seeds so far.
My friend loaned me 5 seeds he bought.
Those are in the cup now.
I don't know the genetics of them.
My tent is set, 4x4 vevo Phlizon 4500 I think and 2 fans I have the 6 inch exhaust carbon filter jober. Vent outside and the tent stays at 74 F.
I have a 30 gal fan pot. I copied your setup kinda.
Using dirt w some blood meal and Bone meal mix #4 and some black cow mixed in.
No beans popped, 27 so far. Kinda bummed.

I just dropped em in pond water. They are still kinda hard. I will keep checking through the day. I don't have a nail file but I have sand paper up to 800. LOL.
Shine em up first!
I've heard of that on here to sand the end. I've got cataracts and can't see bo-diddle.
21st I get 1 side taken off.I can't wait.

If we all could only grow this good 👍👍👍👍👍
Like @Natep said the BAS way is excellent, I chose it to do living soil easier, I know I could individually source it all, which I may eventually but for now hell some craft blend and a few other amendments and these are the results? Hell yeah.

If you gotta try again, I do 20:1 distilled or spring water to 3% iso,

Just a shot glass is all ya need per strain

Then make a tube out of the sandpaper roll it up into a tube tape the flap and put some seeds inside and cover the ends, shake em for a good 2 minutes or so nice and vigorously to scuff the hell out of them then I usually soak em in the water / iso for about 12-16 hours with the shot glass on a heater duct in the basement or on a heat mat

Then I put em right into some nice damp soil

On really old seeds I got em to pop by really sanding the ridge edge of the seed like said above just to weaken the seam to make it even easier to open

You have to do a earthbox run. Next level of easy. I’m in Southern California in an area that gets days that are at 15% rh. With the earthboxes I have to fill my humidifiers like two times a grow. My 15 gallons it’s every couple days.
