Thanks fam! Can’t wait to make this happen, currently spending more money 🤣
Like I have said before, you should have him sponsor a contest, but anyway BAS should be an active vendor on this site. I don’t have instagram, YouTube restricts me from viewing their videos because I don’t have a google account. Build a soil is limiting their outreach using social media. I can’t view a instagram post because I have no Facebook, I can’t view YouTube video because I have no google account. Forums especially thc farmer are something that business should recognize. Let’s take car shows and races as an example. You only get notified if you’re in some certain group. So you don’t get notified of the event. BAS gets little attention other than being expensive comments which are silly considering you can go water only. I don’t like throwing random bottles of non organic matter in my water.

I hear ya! It’s difficult getting them into forums (or any vendor, it’s an added expense for the vendor, but does give them more exposure if they feel it is worth it, that’s why you don’t see many vendors per froum, only a few on each one) they maintain their YouTube presence heavily it’s where they grew from giving advice etc and they built a following off it. Honestly I’d love to do something Similar out here on the east coast as they are west coast based, and really there’s nobody out this way that does what he does, nearly impossible to fina anything he sources locally, I know it’s sucks that he’s on YouTube and a few other places only but I think that’s part of his business model. He’s extremly attentive to posts and comments on his videos, in between his weekly 10x10 and earthbox updates he does FAQ’s where he answers questions and comments from his previous videos. But I also think that’s why he dosent tend to branch out, he knows he’d lose that attentiveness he gives his viewers.

If there’s any way you can get on YT to watch his videos I’d encourage it. Tons of info.

Ok dropped the next order lol

Some more fun on the way

Just stocking up on stuff I’d like to use during the run, I’ll take a break on buying stuff… for a week or 2 🤣

Next pickups I want will be craft blend, but that’s for more twords the end of the run when I regenerate the soil, but still gotta get some worms, and the ecowitts besides that I shouldn’t need anything else I know of to get this going l, and I can start without those, I’ll run the 5% rule with water and use a cheap moisture meter to get the cover crop rollin while I get the clones started

Right! Honestly it was a big deal until one point… when they started legalizing. Guys used to grow for top shelf quality, after legalization everyone jumped to rockwool or coco and drippers etc for the accelerated growth speed, just to churn out quick flip bud to be first to market etc etc. but everyone’s been smokin that shit for years now and are tasting quality bud grown organically but most importantly imo… to full maturity. Those big commercial farms could care less about the quality as long as the name makes you buy it. If they pull a week early they don’t care, to us we push em, usually even longer than we should, but we care about the fully developed flavor, trichrome maturity etc, they care about the next batch and the next buck.

Plus it’s a whole different level of fun running organic lol

I thought about adding rice hulls and barley. Aloe Vera has never done a damn thing for me at any level so It was never going to have a place here. But I had to put a stop to the inputs.

5 to 7 gal. Reused soil/perlite, 3 Cubic Ft. of Ocean Forest, 1 Cubic Ft. of Just Natural Compost Soil, 12 lb. of Worm Castings, 8 Qt. of Char, 8 Cup of Gaia Green 444 and 3 Cup of 284, 2.75 lb. of Greensand, 4.4 lb. of Glacial Rock Dust, 6 Cups of DE, 1/4 Cup of Recharge with Great White mixed in. And sample packets of Azoz, CalCarb and Mykos. Filled a 15 gal and two 10 gal soft pots with 10 gal to spare.

Nice mix! Yeah the aloe will only be added as a wetting agent only, I wanna start mixing some homemade soil as well, once I get this run underway that’s my next plan.

Just talking to a new earthworm casting producer doing R&D and I’ll be working with him shortly as my EWC supplier met him over on Instagram got into garden talk and it went on from there lol, he’s just getting started and needed some testers so I figured why not he’s producing them with 100% organic inputs for the worm food, basically following Colorado worm castings method

Lots of cool opportunities out there if you reach out to people! He also will walk me through his process of making them so I can try to replicate the process 😁

And her sister chopped 10 days ago, moved from the dry box to the Rubbermaid tote to redistribute moisture and start cure

One clone of each will be in this run plus the Frostette

Now you need to check out Leighton Morrisons technique for building your pots. Then look into Korean natural farming.

I have not. I added a ton of basalt to my soil when I made it.

Oh KNF is cool as hell, I’ve read about it a bunch, when I built my outdoor beds I used rotted logs at the bottom, 2x 5lb bags of chicken of the woods mushroom inoculated substrate, mixed in to the native soil, bale of peat moss, bone meal few other things etc those are gunna be fun to run the first time too

I know you are were talking about getting the three weather stations and placing them in front of the plants. Here’s the weather station working in another room. It’s pretty far . I might try and see how far I can go but I’m not promising shit😁👊

You are going to get bored not having to feed plants. Make some aloe Vera fpj for veg and cantaloupe fpj for bloom. Then make lab add it every couple of watering. Then when you are ready to go full crack head you can go harvest IMO.

It’s kinda what I need at this point that flow grow minimal input besides watering, I noticed that BAS also sells a full liquid KNF Pro line but very expensive, each one is $70 but I believe it’s very concentrated and minimal amounts are needed

I would prefer to make my own concentrates though, also planning to make a worm bin, Why trust some company’s method to one of my main components , almost considering running 1 gallon worm buckets on the inside side of my 30 gals

Oh wow

LABS is just milk whey and molasses? My wife makes homemade yogurt from whole milk (local and delivered to my door weeekly) when she makes yogurt and separates the whey she usually throws it out, maybe not anymore!
