Woke up to a surprise in my tent. My wife attempting to tan herself and catch some UV rays in the 4x4 😂 I told her it’s only up to 30% she’s better off waiting till the 4x8 lights up in another hour lol

Got bored did some wiring on some antique lights and got them both working again, then improved air circulation in the house for heat from the wood stove to the far bedrooms and got the fan off the floor lol. Increased the temp in the back bedrooms 5f each

And the wife got her lights she’s been holding onto for 12 years that she got from my mother that got them from another family member etc but they’ve been broken that whole time just being passed down, not anymore!

And I got them mobile again and can be adjusted from 12”” tall to 18” tall very heavy solid brass but worth the time to fix them for sure they where re-wired once before but that didn’t go well so I redid everything lol new wire and sockets etc

Little morning update in the 4x4 she’s looking happy, I keep thinking her leaves are yellowing but if I leave them the start fading into purple, never had that happen on any of my plants before to this extent so I have my fingers crossed the whole plant goes purple lol, she got fed good yesterday 6.5PH full neut run, fox farms bloom, and buds and blooms, epsom salt, flower fuel and added in myco, watered to approx 20% runoff she looks nice and happy this morning, I defenitly thought she was starving made sure water feed was about 1,000PPM checked runoff and was at 2800 so nah she’s good lol, ph of runoff was 6.5 as well so hey lll let her roll lol

Smokin on a past pheno of this GCS candy kush from when she was an autoflower, the bud is awesome I can’t wait to see what she can produce this time!

This bud was harvested after my first run of these seeds so has been curing for at least 4.5 months 2nd run wasent as good as the first very low yield etc but still decent bud, hopefully this one is the best, either way she’s bigger than all the other 6 autos of her I’ve grown put together so there’s that! Haha

FYI since the plant that I have obviously didn’t autoflower, I decided to take a few clones of her awhile back when she was in the other tent in veg, before the clones rooted they started throwing out preflowers like they flipped to flower, so I tossed them lol but I thought that was kind of interesting that taking them as a clone would stress them into their autoflower traits when the mother skipped that gene obviously

Looking good Mike!
Are you using Epsom salt in your feed schedule?
Plants look a little hungry and last pic show something going on with leave in center?
I get purple from the same plant consistently, but still think most of it or the timing of it is on me and my feeding habits?
I tend to go lite..
And most of us use BIC lighters, but that would be because we are smoking.
Obviously, you had the munchies early! 😉

This could really go in either journal but this is the propagation / veg / actual vegtable tent,

Here we have 5x cookies Kush clones (solo cups in the treys) , 5x cookies Kush monstercrop clones (solo cups on the ground) about 20x lettuce plants, 4x tomato, and 4x sweet banana pepper plants, these will all stay inside to grow fully, by next winter I plan to utilize both KingLED 1500’s to grow vegetables hopefully in another 4x8 I’ll get it done lol

Plan will be to move the 4x8 next to the 4x4 in my spare bedroom. (Vents will not be tied together, air intakes will come from an adjacent room, fans will exhaust out into a separate room from the Intake at and exhaust tent room, once everything is set I will use rigid pipe for the intake and exhausts and will then install the c drip ceiling in this room. It’ll just fit with a 1.5’ path next to the tents up to the bed lol but it’ll work with a foot of space between the tents heres how they are currently set up,

In the spring I will be installing 6x new breakers, 1x for each light independently, and 1x for each tent’s fans and accessories, power will be ran to each tent at convenient locations for tent access, I already have the wire, will be using GFcI’s, once that is complete I will work on a dual hydro setup, one for the 4x4 and one for the 4x8 they have to be separate because it’ll be for a perpetual harvest setup, I’ll veg in the vegtable tent until they are ready for the big lights, then veg Till scrogs are filled, then flip if like the tents to be about 2-2.5 months apart

Yes I did have the munchies haha 2 weeks off = lots of wake and bakes haha lighter was over in the desk, yes I’m using Epsom salt in the feed schedule

Runoff on the 4x4 plant was 6.8PH (running high I use pure water from the tap 158PPM 7.8PH normally and use a chlorine / chloramine filter) can PH down if needed I try to feed unaltered as I always delt with low PH, PPM on runoff was 1600 with a 900PPM feed input the soil was amended heavily at the start, this plant is in coast of maine stoningham blend but has never been transplanted because it was an auto that never auto’d 😂😂 and now it’s 4 months old in the same pot so I’m nursing it along

All the plants had a big flush yesterday, today I re-upped the 4x4 plant with neuts, full heavy feed she looked hungry, PH’d to 6.5 1650PPM

She is right on for input to runoff on PH, and has plenty of food, did a price a lot of the yellowing starts to fade to some purpling on the leaves we’ll see if it fully progresses

Her feed today,

1gallon water
Tiger bloom 3tsp (2-8-4)
3/4tsp epsom salt
1/2 tsp cal-mag
1 gal size scoop of flower fuel (1-34-32)
1/16 tsp great white shark myco

Here’s runoff

Looking good Mike! You are definitely putting a lot of thought into your set up. Its amazing how quickly this hobby escalates! One day I’m usuing a divided 4x8 for veg and flower, now I am using all of that and a 5x5 for flower and a jazzy 4x4 for veg. Still loving the jazzy, its not as fancy as the ac infinity tents with side vents and windows, but it works. I am basically running another set of what i just had finish, but only using ten gal. Bags so i can compare and see if the 40 was worth it. I’m leaning towards, not really😠Have a good one!

Thank you and no problem for the nomination it was your achievement growing that beauty!

And I can’t hate in the cheap tents my 4x4 is the Zazzy brand that was $50 on sale haha

That’s what I’m thinking, switching to 10 gallon pots for final pots, right now they are in 5 gallon buckets and I can tell they could have gone bigger to spread out more, and then a full 4x4 scrog for each plant, it would put me to a 3 plant total… but if they are monsters that can outperform 6 smaller plants then I’m down haha, I have all those clones in the other tent I think they will all be going outside, I think I’ll start a fresh seed for each plant one will be cookies Kush, another will hopefully be runtz, and I need one more seed of a different strain

Good deal.
I will remember COM Stonington needs help long term.
I think I am going back to Stonington and FFOC mix next.
I see things differently in soil and have no issue with pH and do not adjust,or even ever consider measuring runoff or pH.
My water is 7.6 and has not caused me any issues in soil.
I gave you the 😲 for Tiger bloom...
Have you used it before this grow?
I am all Fox Farms but do not use the Tiger Bloom at all.
Maybe anecdotal, but all I read about the TB was stay away.
Maybe less skilled growers, but I side step it just to be safe.
I hit the dry powder trio for flower after the veg ferts from FF.
Looking good man.

also part of the no-pH club and mine gets up to 7.8-8.1 from the tapola 🫥

it's strange to see people trying to grow organic yet blasting their rootzone with synthetic pH bottles

I don't choose quality soils because they are organic.
It just turns out that way..💪
Funny how all say not to mix the two but the seller of a organic soils makes , sells and promotes their own synthetics.. 🤔
For use in their organic soil. 😲
🤣 🤣 🤣

Yeah I used the tiger bloom I’m my first grow no issues with that grow, didn’t use it last time but decided to try it again, maybe I’ll step back from it and use just the bloom, only used it because the bloom has 0 nitrogen and felt after 4 months she may have needed a bit of a boost, next feed I’ll use bloom instead (I have pretty much the full FF liquid lineup on hand including micro and sledgehammer if a flush is needed lol,

Yeah I mean for 4 months it’s holding on, and it was also amended heavily at the start and top dressed about 4 times (once a month) but hopefully the flush helps it’s been at least a month and a half since she’s been flushed good so probably still had some salts buildup

Stonington blend is going good, but I’m actually really liking running the 4x 5 gallon buckets with strawberry fields in the 4x8 I don’t Ph anything normally but once a month I’ll compare input to output and when I notice the PPM go up I give it a flush in case it’s a salt buildup showing up in the runoff I just fill up 2 5 gallon buckets with the chlorine filter and let them sit till the next day, then just use it I stopped PH’ing water every time I water during the 2nd grow I seemed to have more issues when I PH’d the shit out of the water to get it just right

Was gunna try the FF dry ferts but everything said hydro I was gaming try them in the strawberry fields plants or in the next run with one of the plants, may start with the strawberry fields or switch to Pure coco or try the coco-loco haven’t decided yet

Yeah plan was full organic but it got a bit crazy for a month and a half and didn’t have time to really sit down and top dress properly and in time, even though I have it all, since thanksgiving I haven’t had tons of spare time so the FF neuts are my backup, glad I had them lol

Also the plant in the 4x4 is way overdue lol she should have been harvested a month and a Half ago with her autoflower sisters lol

Have also been considering a hydro bucket for the next run but haven’t decided in anything yet if I may stay with the starwverry fields but will switch to 10 or 15 gallon buckets

I have my RS#11 from @ImpulsiveGrower in Strawberry fields [ 30% coco] and am thinking of moving away from it when I repot.
Maybe me but the shit just does not act like soil IMO. Seems fucked watering every time as the plant grows? 🤷‍♂️
That is my thoughts on going back to COM and FFOC.
I have been watching @Cool_Beans build out his hydro set up and like his DIY style myself.👍

Hmm odd, I did add about 20% perlite and about 3 cups of vermiculite they seem happier now when I water them heavy and let it runoff about 10-20% and at this point I’m making it about 2 days between watering I’m sure that’ll go to once per day soon

The stonington blend plant, ol trusty 3 days between waterings as always lol
