Missouri outdoor grow tips?

Does anyone got any tips for growing outdoors in missouri? I just bought some seeds i know alot about growing but ive never grown outdoors in missouri the few times i have it was gorilla grows now that its legal the medicinal way im legit and need some tips for my region?

Right on bro ya ive grown alot indoors few times outdoors deer ate most of it. Used repels all seems to work on the deer. Just need some tips specifically for our area since this is all new territory it being legit now it seems i could get bigger planta outdoors just the soil here is full of clay seems to be the major problem so maybe raised beds definitely or mounds.
