Mold on soil

hi fellow farmers
I am growing in a green house. I topped up my soil in my pots with compost i had laying around now i have an issue with mold on top of the soil. I have removed the top layer i added but there is still the odd spore. does any one have a solution to sort this out many thanks

Dress the top with perlite as it is resistant to mould....I think

It probably isn't mold but hyphae. The nutrients from the compost will begin the process of breaking down through this hyphae

don’t if you have mold on soil that’s a good thing! just turn it over and allow the soil to break it down. mold is our friend is soil gardening

What did it look like? Both color and texture will help.

Probably beneficial fungi. But no pics so can't say for sure

It was just a white lave of non dance mold I wish I took a pic now as I cleared the top of pot and hasn't come back so I'm guessing I sorted it just in time im going to cover top of the soil with perlite today
