mold resistant paint

any suggestions on best ways to prevent mold growing on walls and ceilings when humidity is high?

Zinsser Perma-White. Get a high gloss finish so it can be easily washed.

Then (this is the typical stoner response) control the humidity, get a dehuey in there.

Oh yeah, be SURE to use a good primer before you lay down the paint.

no paint will stop mold from growing on it alone, you need other measures, environment being the obvious preventive measure. use kilz primer with a half cup of lysol disinfectant per gallon of paint and mix well, that works good. but me personaly, if im using painted walls, i repaint after every 3-4 crops anyways

when building my room, i went to Kelly Moore for paint. They gave me a few packets of some anti-mildew additive for the paint. Check em out...here in SF this type of additive is crucial, with the fog and all...
