if i have a light that puts out 6500k does having four put out the same amount just more spread out or do i multiply the 6500 by 4 and thats what im working with?

6500K is colour spectrum - one or fifty lights will still be 6500k.

it does not matter how many bulbs you have that have the light spectrum 6500k, you will not add any more light spectrum just by adding the same bulb.

spectrum is the same but the amount of lumens increases, no?

yes that is correct. adding more lights will increase your lumen out put
