My FIRST grow... what advice can I get with this set up?

I am looking to start out relatively inexpensive with 1000w hps on 8 SOUR D'S

VEG:

4x4 grow lab tent inside 12 X12 apt bdrm that has central AC in east county SD (stays HOT til OCT) 100's and beyond but humidity is near perfect yr rd :)

under 1000w hps

i wanna go DWC (deep water culture) in 2-5 g buckets?

I will be running a 5000 btu "rigged" window AC unit INTO the tent and venting out of the bdrm

FLOWER:

SAME bdrm, 7x7, grow lab tent, same vent set up with AC, plus oscillating fan(s), and co2 tank at timed intervals

note: I will also be running squirrel cages in both tents for more air flow

i am sure I have missed some things, but thats the basics

any words of wisdom farmers? or just advice?

how are you going to vent "out of the bdrm" ?

Have you decided on the buckets,air-stones and pump?
I find the 5 gallon buckets work a lot better than 2 gallon. Also want to make sure they are dark color or paint them. Want to make sure its dark for the roots.

What about your water supply? RO?

I will surely be building the same thing for my window.

And I do not have a budget for the filter but I may just go through the trouble of buying OR water...it seems important :)

RO filter. If your going hydro a water chiller is something you might want. I live on the coast i n SD is so i learned the hard way that a dehumidifier is a must. You might want to consider.

stupid me...i need at least a 12X14 space for the tents...duh...lol

i just secures a spot that has a more limited spce but a 4x 4 walk in closet

so i am back to the drawing board....

i am going to buy a grow tent for christmas and i wondered if u could give me any advice on what to buy i was hoping to get one with evrything i need built in is that a good idea??
